Were any of the scoffers from Florida? Were they gurgling?
Barasso, another one of the long, long list of those vying for the title of dumbest GOP legislator. We’ll see who is laughing, Barasso, after the November lections, eh?
Dumbass!
The thing is, since many republicans are old, they won’t be around when climate change really starts to hurt. Why should they care. They’ve got theirs.
Will American society have the will power to hold those responsible for their gravely irresponsible lies and craven misdirection w/r/t climate change. Will there be no penalty for their harm to us and the world? When Democrats take back Congress thier first law should be one with severe punishment for knowingly lying about matters greater than any financial crimes. Jail for these MoFos and let them know it’s coming.
Wyoming. Why, indeed.
Nope, nope and nope. And nope. Evil always wins in this world and bad people get away with it.
Yeah, those dumb Democrats, believing in things like evidence, facts…, science.
Wyoming, where a single digit lead in the popular vote still means something.
Why does HIltarY want TO PUT the engINEErs out of WOrk??
“GOP Platform Committee Mocks Dems For Including Climate Change In Platform.”
Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the insatiable greed, callous inhumanity, and hopeless denial of a world gone mad, I put my arm around my little boy; point to the melting icecaps, sinking coastlines, spreading deserts, growing famines, and countless refugees; and say, “Son, someday this will all be yours.”
(With apologies to Vonnegut)
“There’s sections about that they call ‘climate justice’ – climate justice!” Barrasso said, getting laughter from the other platform committee members.
And yet those losers didn’t even include a single plank about serious issues like prairie chickens, porn, or junk food!
Climate change!? Why, that’s almost pornographic!
Save the video. It will make some pretty effective ads. And some day it’ll show up in documentaries trying to explain why the US did nothing as coastal cities were submerged by rising seas.
GOP election strategy:
Step 1: How to lose all millenial voters?
Answer: Deny climate change.
You could boil 90% of the Republican platform down to “I’ve got mine, hands off”.
Well, “climate justice” does sound kinda like a parody of liberals.
I doubt they’ll be laughing if the Ailes out at Fox story is true because James Murdoch will be the new CEO of Fox. This is good news for the environment.
Kathryn Hufschmid Murdoch, his wife, worked for the Clinton Climate Initiative and in 2013 James and Kathryn launched Quadrivium Foundation; an advocacy group for aligning economic and environmental health. She is also a Trustee of the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).
See the EDF’s bold plan to make global carbon emissions start falling by 2020. https://www.edf.org/climate
Well, that’s funny, because I am mocking the Republican Platform Committee for still, on July 18, 2016, having the 2012 platform up on the website, including praise for their candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
(In case somebody got wise, Wonkette has the screenshot.)
Damn communist Ronald Reagan and Pinko George HW Bush.
