Discussion: GOP Panelist: Attack On DNC Chair Is A Democratic 'War On Women'

Unless I missed a snark it certainly is not in any way in support of regressive neanderthal :“conservative” thoughts concerning women.

True. But it takes about 6 years for the effects of redistricting to wear off. The day of reckoning for the GOP will soon be upon us. A major wave is coming to throw up the nutjobs in the House. Demographics are a bitch. The GOP can’t stop it no matter how hard they try.

Yeah that’ll work.

What do you call the psychological dysfunction that causes people to hand the controls to known deviates who deliberately wreck whatever you hand them?

Democrats have never been close to perfect but Republicans have never been anything but disastrous. Why do people keep taking them seriously?

What a weak argument…

Instead of relying on articles citing super secret mysterious unnamed so-called Democratic sources in Washington’s gossip rag, perhaps Ms Navarro should instead focus on the public voting record of the Congressional GOP. Then maybe her offense on the war on women can be properly directed.

Nice that she’s pretending to be concerned about Rep. Wasserman-Schultz though. It would have been wonderful to see that same care expressed when then-Rep. Allen West was verbally assaulting her.

Being retired I have had a considerable amount of tine to think on the point you raise here and I have failed to see why someone would vote against their own self interest. I can only ascribe it to…habit. Your folks voted republican and you were raised in that culture so that’s how you vote. You can’t see voting any other way. This is what keeps them in office. Habit.

That’s the only way I can reason this out so far. But I’ll keep working on it.

President Romney agrees.

A lot has to do with fear and hate.

Fear of the black guy in the WHITE house.
Fear of change…
Hate of minorities.
Hate of anyone who doesn’t think like they do.
Religious fanatics.

Conservatives by their very name do not embrace change. They resist it. The nut jobs they elect promise they will stop change from happening and to them if it means destroying the country so be it.

These people are dying off and demographics will soon make them impotent. The millennials are certainly not conservative so the election of these bomb throwers will become less and less as we get to the next decade.

Agreed. Wasserman-Schultz can hold her own with any man in D.C., and anybody with her job in a year like this is going to have a target on his/her back. I would like to see her in a room with Darrell Issa and see who walks out and who crawls out.

Navarro is a foul lump of deformity.

George still has a show besides his pap morning spot? And the Chicana babe is shilling for the inclusion vote in 2016? So what., it’s Politico (FOX lite) and Buzzfeed fer cryin outloud.

Someone should remind Navarro about useless wars since her father was a Nicaraguan Contra leader in the 80’s. A lot of good that *did for our country.

“You have maybe some crazy Todd Akin say some stupid remark, and you pick on that one remark.”

This woman is such an incredible liar and hypocrite; first of all as she well knows, it’s dozens of Republican idiots mouthing off their anachronistic views of women that have turned women away from the GOP in historic numbers and secondly, the idea that the Left is the ideology denying women equal pay, health and reproductive rights or education, childcare and housing benefits, is so absurd as to be obscene.

Women across the United States are only too aware which party wants to grant them equality and which wants them to ‘submit’ to their husbands.

Yeah, they can: They can con people again in 2020, and get to re-do the maps again.

Which we may laugh at, but are still seen (along with The SHill) as gold by the Villagers.

Not to mention that there’s plenty of topics to criticize DNC Chair Wasserman-Schultz that has nothing to do with wardrobe. Those stories were only given daylight in toilet paper rags like Politico. That TPM decided to republish the crap from Politico is a stain on TPM, and not the Democratic party.

The “war on women” is about issues concerning women like health-care, contraception, and equal-pay which the Republican Party continues to be against. Try to keep to the facts, Navarro.

Ahhhh. But come 2020 demographics kill the GOP. The old angry white guys die off, the minorities continue to increase and the GOP is crushed at the polls. No amount of conning is going to make latinos and millenials vote for this set of nut jobs.

Once again, conservatives show that they just don’t get it.

The so-called “war on women” concerns Republican-promoted legislative proposals and policies that undermine the health, welfare, and personal privacy of American women – it has nothing to do with disagreeing with individuals who happen to be women.

Another time-honored GOP move to reduce an issue they are on the losing side of to a whining “he said-she said/mommy-he’s-pushing-me-no-she’s-pushing-me” squabble.

The viewer throws their hands up, concludes that both sides are equally at fault (they’re not), and the Republicans dodge another bullet and keep on fucking this country into the ground.

Can it be guillotines time yet?
