Discussion: GOP National Security Experts Ask Congress To Investigate DNC Hack

I think I agree with you. Some anti-Trump Republicans might hope this could be the way to swiftly cut off his head.

This is a very minor ā€œeffortā€ whose main significance is the relationship getting cozier and cozier between neocons and Hillary Clinton and her people. It’s a small story and Josh is pushing the ā€œPutin-Trumpā€ angle hard and basically ignoring the growing Clinton-neocon alliance angle.

Watergate 2. History repeats itself.

It will be interesting to see if Congressional Republicans respond to this concern the way they responded to voter fraud, which virtually didn’t exist.

Interesting. Investigate it like Benghazi.

I’m fine with that as long as the 1st thing that they do is subpoena Trump’s tax returns for the past 10 years, have a forensic audit of them performed, and make the Trump family testify under oath.

Maybe pig will levitate too.

I’d almost rather it be the innuendo campaign it is–
rather than allow it to be diminished publicly by some pre-election report exonerating Russia.

This is the time to absolutely play hardball. It’s not about being ā€˜fair’.
No f^cking quarter. No f^cking letting an opponent who is down-- back up off the mat.

If those GOP Security Experts want to do the right thing?
Just pull the lever for HRC on Nov 8th.

Exactly correct. Nothing more than a opportunity for a bunch of failing candidates to get on TeeVee and claim that ā€œthere are many troubling questions, but there is no doubt we’ll get to the facts and let the chips fall where they may.ā€ Behind closed doors it’s nothing but the feckless and desperate searching for anything with which to tar Clinton.
