If he had wanted the election to go his way he should’ve become Secretary of State first, duh.
Finally. He will slither out of his office and hopefully wind up in Florida… and leave Maine alone. He just couldn’t bamboozle the voters and the courts like his man trump has done.
Whoever was funding him gave up. And/or he realized that his legal flailings wouldn’t prevent the winner from being seated.
I understand the confusion that arises when the GOP cannot finger out how to steal an election. Back in the good 'ol days it seemed so simple…call the Kochs!
I was really hoping he would spend his entire fortune fighting this losing battle for years, and then have to live on government welfare (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.) so his final days on earth would help him understand what it is like for the real people of Maine.

Imagine how confusing it must have been for all those folks in Kansas, getting told they had to go out of town 12 fucking miles to some former land fill, to cast the vote they used to cast a few blocks from home? Or the absentee voters in North Carolina.

Good, that’s one Republican that tried to game the rules and then took it to court to try to overturn the will of the people who lost in the end. We need more Republicans to realize that the rules and law around elections actually mean something, and that they need to lose graciously for the health of our nation. Their behavior is becoming ever more undemocratic, and it is a direct threat to the continuation of our nation as a free land where the people choose the path…that’s already on the edge of being lost (mainly because of Republicans continual attempts to win at all costs), it won’t take much more to push us down the road that Hungary has taken the past few years.
Poor Florida…I believe Maine’s other great embarrassment, soon-to-be-former governor Paul LePage, has announced plans to move there too.
Imagine having those two bozos as neighbors. Ugh.
