McMorris-Rogers was almost up before house ethics committee for misuse of public funds on her campaign. The OCEâs board voted 6-0 to refer the case to the ethics panel, which has subpoena authority. But the Ethics committee declined to take it up.

She is right! There are still important questions that the Benghazi Committee needs answered.
Like, âhow long can we possibly drag out this bogus investigation without losing credibility?â Or âhow many news cycles can we dominate with the GOPâs manufactured controversies and political attacks on Hilary Clinton?â Or âhow many attack stories about Hilary Clintonâs private e-mail account can we get the New York Times and other mainstream journalists to run?â And âhow long will the general public tolerate an abuse of power so long as it is conducted by attractive, articulate politicians wearing nice suits with concerned expressions on their faces?â
These are very important questions, which must be explored and repeated until the GOP finally has the answers that it has been seeking.

My question, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WAR) (fixed it for you), is âŚhow long does it take grown humans to find their own ass? You have been at this since Sept 11, 2012. That is Three Years. Does it generally take three years to figure that you might just not have anything? You have 50,000 pages of emails, you have her server, You have questioned the Secretary, you have questioned all involved. What else do you need to come to a conclusion? Or, should I take it that this is a witch hunt meant to take down HRC which it has been from the beginning? Anyone with a functioning brain should have been able to work out an answer inside of 3 years with the mountain of evidence available.

I remember when she had her baby about a year ago and for some reason TPM thought it was important to post a picture of her and her baby, and those of us who expressed our disappointment with that decision, were met by the oh but its a cute baby and no matter that itâs mother is a GOPer asshole, we were being insensitive. It actually scares me to know these folks reproduce.

It would help, I think, if the Democrats finally realized that they are not participating in a legislative body in the House, but, rather in a theatrical production: a theatrical production where the Republicans have cast the Democrats as the patsies in the play. This is why â TPM readership to the contrary notwithstanding â the Republican message always makes the headlines, while any Democratic response is buried, if it is carried at all by the MSM. If the Democrats finally understood this reality, they could start recasting themselves and dramatically alter both the script and the plot line. I have some ideas on how to do this if anyone is interested. And I suspect others would have some good ideas, too.
