I’m suddenly confronted with the thought that the trolls and general nitwits that post to social media will soon be the dominant power in politics.

I know, I’m just miss sunshine today.

Another shiny example of how our schools have failed society.

Ah, hahahahaha! Thanks for the laugh. Don’t have a facebook account-never have, never will, but I thank them for the distraction.

Yeh…

He be taking selfies of chewing and walking gum.

Phew…for a moment there he almost blew his perfect record of doing the wrong thing. For a Republican, that could be fatal.

If we find someone facebooking when they are supposed to be working in my office it’s a demerit.

They just keep finding new ways to be Stupid. It’s amazing.

So he was on his phone not doing his job, on tax payer dime? Great admission.

I can’t multi-task either (hangs head).
Seriously now, multi-tasking can dangerous and not just when voting.
I see many many folks playing with their phones when they are driving. There’s data indicating distracted driving is more dangerous than being drunk and driving.
Hang up when driving!

Shows how seriously Republicans take the job voters trusted them to do.

It should b e remembered that California was the model for today’s national polarization, budget chicken, deficits and total war against a Democratic executive. We solved that problem with a democratic Governor ( Gov Brown) a popular initiative to set up citizen panels to do voting district reapportionment which created a Democratic super majority. No more budget games, no more hostage taking. Yet the Republicans are still playing games with their lock-step votes against anything a Democrat ]should propose.

Meh . . .

The real issue that should be getting coverage here at TPM is this headline. This here will cause the Republican’s heads to implode.

California budget deal grants health
coverage to children in U.S. illegally

An estimated 170,000 immigrants 18 and younger could qualify, marking another victory for advocates and lawmakers who have worked to make the state more welcoming to unauthorized residents.

“With this budget, we’re saying that immigrants matter, irrespective of who you are or where you’re from,” said state Senate leader Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles).

Legislature approves new $117.5-billion
budget as spending talks continue

Democratic leaders also won more money for state-funded child care, preschool and dental care as well as a boost for public universities. But they gave up other spending they wanted and acceded to Brown’s revenue projection, which was about $3 billion lower than theirs.

Why boos? Sniggers and belly laughs would have been more fun.

If the Republicans hate that, then they’ll LOATHE this:

Between a mail-able ballot being sent to every registered voter and automatic motor-voter registration that Padilla is trying to bring into effect, this could effectively end the Republican party in the Golden State until they throw the Teabillies overboard and figure out how to contest elections effectively.

I expect the CA dems are including the repubs in budget talks, not that they’ll listen to them. Here in AZ the repubs run stuff and don’t even tell the dems in the legislature when or where the meetings will be held.
