Discussion: GOP Launches Online Fundraising Rebuttal To ActBlue: WinRed

“While Democrats act, Trump told his team, Republicans win,”

Is “no action” really something to be proud of?

So trump’s football pal wouldn’t let them use “Patriot” but apparently no one in the administration cares what Bill Gates thinks. Good to know.

Think of the much happier lives we would all have if we were as delusional as Donald Trump!

This may not be a popular opinion, but I am definitely NOT a fan of Act Blue. For many local politicians this seems to be the only way to contribute to their campaign. I see this as counter productive and a step backwards. If you are a single donor to Act Blue, you are not ‘making your voice heard’… you are simply amplifying the voice of the ‘leaders of the PAC’. Personally I would rather donate directly to campaigns then go thru Act Blue

Objectively true statement. It is summer, and they are camps.

Understand completely. But I think for those who don’t have the time or inclination to ‘follow’ politics closely - especially what might be happening across the country where they don’t live - it is of some benefit.

I prefer to give directly to charities, rather than the “Red Cross” - but they do some good.

I don’t always like the causes the ACLU backs - but overall I approve and donate.

It’s one tool in the box.

Let me guess… WinRed LLC will be headquartered in some of that vacant office space in a certain building in NYC…

I’m sure they’ll host some sort of ‘kick-off’ party - that costs twenty times whatever they bring in.

I thought briefly bout using the confederate battle flag - but frankly it might actually work for them. And I’m not sure I want to do their heavy lifting.

WIN RED! (Isn’t that the mantra of the Chinese Army?)

No argument… but in the case of my local congress person it appears Act Blue is the ONLY tool in the box. Which makes me even more leery of Act Blue.
