“I hope Trump wins the primary, because it will be easier for Hillary Clinton to defeat him.”
As usual, the so-called “normal” Republicans prostrate themselves before the Trumpniks, afraid of the wrath of Trump voters.
Exactly. And with Greg Orman running as an independent, we’re pretty much assured that he’s going to be Governor Kobach. Disgusting. Vile. But they get what they deserve by continuing to vote that way.
So, he wants the Dem to win. Good to know.
That’s sort of tongue-in-cheek, but it is generally easier to win an open seat than against an incumbent.
To be fair, it was easier for Hillary to defeat Trump. She had a lot stacked against her (in terms of a long history of nasty attacks against her) and in a “change” election likely would have lost badly to almost any of the mainstream candidates. Without Russian help.
@ealleniii. @spiderpig
Why didn’t he ask for a recount?
We underestimate these slimeballs at our own peril.
Colyer is only normal in the sense that Sam Brownback was/is, that is, not at all. Like Brownback, whom he served as Lt. Governor, he is a not very bright, crazed Christer trickle down freak modern Republican with some, shall we say, empathy issues.
Shithole states.
So did Colyer get his Koch instructions?
From the article:
You mean “ambassador-at-large against international religious freedom for non-Christians.”
Kobach had the support of President Donald Trump.
Right there. That’s all you need to know.
Allegra Kirkland’s chops:
“Election night came and went with Kobach slightly ahead but final results too close to call. Then, last Thursday, the nail-bitingly close race entered a new phase after vote-tallying discrepancies in two rural counties chopped down Kobach’s lead. Clerks in two counties said that the vote totals they turned over to his office were not accurately reported on the secretary of state’s website. Once Kobach’s office corrected the mistake, his lead dropped notably.”
“Nice recount you got there. It would be a shame if something happened to it.”
A vote for Kelly is a vote for your interests.
This is perfect!
The Dems prefer the wingnut Kobach, but they need to beat him. Kansas has been a very strong Repug state in recent years, so I hope they can do it
Sssshhh - hey Kansas
WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!
I wouldn’t be too quick to assume that Kobach has the support of the Kochs.
Take away this lesson Democrats— Trumpers VOTE. We cannot leave any votes on the floor. They are crazy enthusiastic about their guy and anyone he supports, so we have to put aside our differences and do what we have to do to make sure there are Democratic Governors and majority leaders in Congress. I have to vote for a guy I detest— who I think is a son of a bitch because of the way he won the primary— but now he is my son of a bitch. I hope every other Democrat a teeny bit dissatisfied with their primary winner feels that way too.
This gives Kelly a better chance, but Orman really needs to get over his ego and get out of the way…if he stays in then Kobach probably wins. I’m getting a bit tired of selfish politicians who won’t step aside to help make sure that the worst candidate doesn’t win and then screw up the government with their wildly destructive policies.
