There is a cause and effect relationship with removing millions of people off of health insurance.

Once more with feeling: “Obamacare”, the ACA, IS the conservative, free-market approach approach to healthcare. Anything less will not pass the test of affordability and long-term economic stability.

As of 2017, the ACA allows states to substitute their own system as long as it meets the coverage goals.

So why doesn’t she suggest a new approach? If you want something in place in 2017, now is the time to start.

After all, they keep saying they have a “plan” – a “market based” approach. And that means? Well, y’know… a kind of markety basedy thing, done in a freedomish non-Obamalike American loving way. Y’know.

Easy fix. Change one word in the law from “by” to “in” and the entire lawsuit and problem goes away. But that would require the GOP controlled Congress to act like responsible adults and “fix” the dreaded ACA (aka “Obamacare”) which is like committing political seppuku for the teahadist freaks that are the current GOP.

You may be assuming that she is making a good faith argument. Most likely, she wants a soundbite so that she can say she didn’t really want people to lose their insurance. That soundbite will get much more air time than the amicus brief.

Just word salad on her part. If any interviewer ever asked what flexibility she needs that the ACA doesn’t already give, there would be at least 20 seconds of dead air while she gropes for a way to rephrase the complaint.
