“But don’t worry, guys”, he added, “The Russians have our backs.”
I keep reading perfect storm after perfect storm, but at some point Republicans have to realize they have left America behind in their headlong effort to enrich the rich.
Speaking of which…

I mean you’re supposed to actually understand what’s going on?
No gloom! No gloom! You’re the gloom.
Seriously, the gloom starts (or deepens) after the votes come in tomorrow. At least I hope so.
For sure, but what’s their message going to be? It was all a big joke? We didn’t really mean it? The devil made us do it?
It was really Obama’s fault. No, really.
From the article: “Republicans have blasted Saccone for weak fundraising, an inability to tell his own story as a veteran, his deep hostility to unions in a union-heavy district, and past mistakes like telling a mother whose kid had died of opioid abuse that addiction was a “family responsibility” and the it’s not taxpayers’ responsibility to help, a brutal remark in a district where opioids are a serious problem.”
So, Republicans have an issue with Saccone for basically being a Republican.
!. Relying on wealthy donors from anywhere for campaign money.
2. Union hostile.
3. Military service as a weapon, not a cherished service to the country.
4. Our social problems are your responsibility.
Checks many of the boxes, what’s the problem here? Just guessing, but, may be this year some voters are paying attention.
March. In like a lion, out like a Lamb.
"That said, this is more an issue of a mediocre candidate, and mediocre is a kind way to describe him, versus a very good candidate.”
May I suggest another way of looking at this? It’s quite simple.
As Rick Wilson so succinctly put it: "Everything Trump Touches Dies."™
Don’t hang by your thumbs until that day comes. That light will dawn only after they have been reduced to a pitiful few in Congress and state legislatures.
Boy oh boy! Rick sac-of-something sure is a piece of work. You’d think the other party could run a bobble-headed doll to replace this guy.
But, being me, I still have more than a few questions about the people who elected “Sack” in the first place. It goes back to something that is still true, no matter how you dress it up and how much lipstick you put on the pig.
People who would elect “Representation” like this are often just too stupid to understand the vote they are being asked to make. So our “governing bodies” are filled to the top with nitwits like this, and a big noise has to be made by someone to replace this boob. Elections are the ultimate form of correction for bad governance. But if that is so, what do you do about the ultimate fly in the ointment of “democracy?” A willfully ignorant segment of the population who come election day will vote for this nitwit because he has the “correct” letter" designating his Party affiliation. And nothing else will matter to tens of thousands of people, who will be herded into the voting booths, mooing all the way, to vote for a single letter and nothing else at all.
They say that the toughest part of running for office is overcoming the advantages of incumbency.
Bosh!
I say the hardest part is overcoming the riptide of morons who put people like “Sack” into office in the first place, and the Nation be damned, all for one lousy letter.
If Lamb wins, that’s going to be a problem for Trump’s dreams of running endless campaign rallies across the country this year, because republicans will be saying “No thanks. Really. PLEASE don’t come to my district” all over the place.
And that’s gonna make him angry.
Oh, nothing would make me happier!
I’m hoping Trump is forced out along about mid-October. Does this make me a bad puppy?
Yep. He lives for throwing red meat to a rally full of his adoring and rabid nitwits.
Nope, it makes you a good puppy.
I’m really hoping Lamb wins but I’ve seen the Democrats pull defeat from the jaws of victory before so I’m going to cross my fingers and pray.
Is it wrong that I’m smiling?
