Iā€™ve just been handed a bulletin. In a shocking development, water remains wet.

No different than the dopes in Congress that are enabling this menace to the future of humanity.A pro Marco Rubio lobbyist is quoted here,ā€¦that should stretch the limits of credulity for anyone paying attention.

I hope there is ongoing published list of Trumpā€™s donors, I could say fools and their money but it is more serious than that, they are choosing party over country and the irony that is lost on them is Trump doesnā€™t give a sh*t about the GOP.
As more get to see the unredacted report and the SDNY gears up, watching these people justify their actions and Trumpā€™s is going to be great.
On the off chance he was to be reelected, hopefully the Democrats should keep the house and Mitch will be gone from the Senate so having Damocles sword hanging over Donnieā€™s head would be almost worth it.

Seriously, at this point Iā€™m not sure who is more powerful and dangerous: Trump who turned the GOP into a cult or his donors who controlled Trump and managed to get whatever they want?

itā€™s a no-brainer

Also no heart and no courage. Just short-sighted venal cowardice all around. They donā€™t want to take any heat for the next year and a half.

Well at least for now we do get to see who is giving to Trumpā€™s campaign, so thereā€™s a record. And that record will show that they are just as out-for-themselves as Trump &Co. Too bad that the rightwing welfare system is better organized and financed than the governmental programs.

The entire time I read this article, three words popped up for me:

Full Mueller Report.

ā€œFrom a policy standpoint, thereā€™s virtually nothing they disagree with,

As we all knew, the Republicans Russians were just hiding their racism and fascism under a thin veneer of ā€œrespectableā€ behavior. At least tRump is exposing them for what theyā€™ve always been.

ā€œAll you have to do is look at what the other side is gearing up for and this is a pretty easy decision for a lot of people,ā€ Geoff Verhoff, a formerly pro-Marco Rubio lobbyist, told Politico. ā€œFrom a policy standpoint, thereā€™s virtually nothing they disagree with, then layer on top of that the choice that the other side is presenting to the country and itā€™s a no-brainer.ā€

I could imagine Hitlerā€™s benefactors in 1932 saying something similar.

Time to launch Operation Democratic Votes Count.

We need about 3 million voting Democrats from New York and California to relocate to Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Thatā€™s about 120 electoral votes.

Sigh. If it were only that easy.

The GOP isnā€™t choosing party over country. Itā€™s choosing bigotry over diversity, squashing others over using the strength of all to build the future, theft and lies over honesty, intimidation over cooperation, and welcoming outside interference over maintaining personal integrity. In the GOP world, there is no United States of America.

ā€œNo brainerā€ takes on a whole new meaning with this administration.

Trump faces a hard ceiling of 42% of the voter pool. Winning would involve considerable Democratic voter apathy, a really bad Democratic candidate, voter suppression and cheating in tallying the results, as well as any other means of fighting dirty not mentioned. Otherwise, money down the drain. Imagine, four more years of Trump if they pull it off. Weā€™re talking about a ruthless, undemocratic process, a usurping of the public good.

ā€œFrom a policy standpoint, thereā€™s virtually nothing they disagree with,

That is disgusting.

The answer is easy: Mitch McConnell

Itā€™s more proof of the age-old adage that "Itā€™s better to go with the criminal malignant narcissist you know than the one who might help save the nation from its damaged institutions, international alliances, environment, and balance sheet."

Itā€™s a typical, mindless GOP Thing. The lobbyist says so: "Itā€™s a no-brainer.ā€ Gray matter not required or desired to support Trump.
