Discussion: GOP Does Anti-Obamacare Dance, But Burwell Still Cruises In Hearing

Discussion for article #222755

“And Cruz’s tease that Burwell’s confirmation could be an opportunity to try to repeal Obamacare looks even more disconnected from reality than it did a month ago.”

Yah the tread’s come off that tire, and you can see the wires on the Benghazi wheel showing.

As 2014 elections approach, all that is left is the Esteemed House Committee on Homina Homina Homina.

Thune,Hatch and Grassley represent 3 states with a combined total of 15 Electoral College votes. Thank God Harry Reid nuked the filibuster on Cabinet nominations.

Um, yeah. She’s in like Flynn. Thune needs to run for President somewhere else.

Flynn won his primary? I didn’t see that coming!

He had help from George Soros!

“That’s theory. This is mathematics," he said. "Are people going to pay more? The answer is yes.”

Care to walk us through the math? To my knowledge, there are quite a few terms in that equation and it is not as straight-forward as one might think on initial observation. And, from what I understand, most people will pay less.

Is it just me, or is there a pattern about the TPM headlines about Republican ACA strategy? On even days: Proof that the GOP has given up on its anti-ACA stance. Odd days: The latest GOP plan to scuttle (ruin, make ineffectual, or otherwise semi-repeal) ObamaCare.

Seriously, how about a broad view on this? What is real, and what is realistic? Forget the clickable headlines, please

Thing is? The ®ubes just want reassuring grist.
Thune makes 'em feel as if he knows what the score is with his mathy-claims.

Politics from the ® side is now nothing more than Kabuki-theater.
Every day. All the time.

“…Could you give me and the American taxpayers a public commitment today…”

Isn’t that blackmail?

Caption: “Tell the truth: Aren’t you glad you don’t have to peddle this bullshit after January 1?”

Nope. Just an attempt to get “damning footage” for future anti-ACA commercials.
