Disagree. This gives them a chance to do nothing (even if it’s 100% hypocritical considering their usual statements about the futility of making things illegal) and point to an “accomplishment”.

Before this massacre happened I didn’t know about bump stocks. But I did know about bump firing. Stop fucking around trying to get assault weapons banned. A bump stock ban will do nothing but make you feel good. Start working on outlawing semi-automatic weapons.
This guy is bump firing the most common 22 cal weapon in the world - the Ruger 10-22. All semi-auto’s can be bump fired without any modifications.

This worthless measure is a poison pill. The local radio blowhard Lars Larsen tipped the right wingers’ hand when he talked about it this week. They will give on this completely insignificant issue, knowing it will not affect 99% of the ammo-sexuals out there. Then they will forever use it to prove how they have tried to work with the “the radical left wing” to solve gun violence. So, it’s useless. We all know it. Just pass it and get it over with so everyone will shut up while we wait for the next mass shooting.
