There is a woman here in my town that invests tons of $$$ buying and restoring older homes around her B&B, and converting those homes into extensions of her B&B. Everything she’s done in that regard is top notch. She lists them through outlets like VRBO and AirBnB, and keeps them occupied pretty consistently, especially when the Legislature and the lobbyists are in town. Well this woman happens to also run a very extensive and deep BDSM enterprise. Some people locally know about it. I found out through my work a couple years ago, and was completely shocked! Disgusted, too. Knowing that a good chunk of her B&B business is here for that kind of tourism is just downright creepy! I guess my larger point is that this fetish/perversion is shared by many more people than you’d think. I use the word “perversion” to incorporate guys like Benjamin Sparks, where the fetish enters non-consensual dimensions.

The mating habits of migratory shorebirds are pretty pedestrian, but in my experience the times I have conformed to patriarchal expectations most completely are the times when I was self-conconsiously acting “against stereotype” to prove I wasn’t one of those birds.

Should I be surprised the “right to work” GOP is involved in something akin to violation of the 13th Amendment? What won’t surprise me is if there’s a 5:4 decision from this Supreme Court makeup saying that the clause about Congress having the power to enforce the amendment by legislation doesn’t really mean what it says. After all, the Chief Justice says the way to stop discriminating based on race isn’t through legislation but to simply stop discriminating based on race, thus gutting the enforcement clause of the 14th Amendment.
Hmmmm…well, have to admit, that madam in your town knows how to make some big money!!

The lady actually is quite the savior for her surrounding neighborhood. She has received several awards for her efforts. She does very good work. What’s even more shocking, though, is that in public, she brags about how her success is the result of a deal she made with God. I wish i was kidding about that.
LOL, I’m not sure why exactly, but there’s something about this woman I like.
