Discussion for article #228527
She’s right, what we need now is a Republican to take us back to the economy of December 2008, before this pansy pro-growth socialist got into office!
Renee Ellmers is congenitally stupid.
That’s what I like about you. Always mentioning a Republican’s good points.
What??? Does she think her constituents that stupid that they think that a private citizen running for office is responsible for the economy? For good or ill? She might as well said the Obama-SweetDee economy for all the sense that makes.
Welcome to Bizarro World.
Does Renee have a closeted gay husband like Bachmann?
“Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf?”
Reps. Renee Ellmers and Virginia Foxx.
Let us hope that Rev. William Barber has had some effect. The Moral Monday movement in North Carolina has aroused some significant political organizing, and Barber, along with the NAACP, has made increasing voter turnout a priority.
Turnout is the thing. Fear (by politicians) of a turnout increases politicians’ necessity to pander to those who will turn out.
Hypothetically, for the sake of argument, let’s suppose that single women, students, youngsters and minorities in Elmers’ district were 100% committed to vote, with no exceptions.
Rather than Aiken distancing himself from Mr. Obama, it would be Ellmers saying that she’s thinking about obtaining dual U.S.-Kenyan citizenship.
…and not ashamed to be so.
…blurts she who desperately seeks to become a 0.01%.
Good to see an amateur doing this. No waiting turns to spew talking points unrelated to the questions. Instead, calling out the bullshit as it spews out. Wish more debates did that - within reason.
I’m disappointed that she didn’t press him on the Benghazi-Aiken coverup.
Even the Obama-Ellmers economy would be closer to the truth!..oops.
