That should fix everything. Thanks GOP!
They’ll all jump on board to make themselves look like they care - but still worship the NRA, allow someone to purchase 100+ guns, and never question why someone would need to own 1,000 rounds of ammunition to hunt a deer.
Trump: First Tax Cuts, then ObamaCare demise. We dont have time for this Bump regulation. NRA will go after us. No way.
Not enough. Get rid of semi-auto military rifles and then this accessory becomes worthless.
I don’t think they all necessarily “worship” the NRA. They’re just afraid to stand up to it and how it has helped corrupt the meaning of the 2nd Amendment.
Cue the wing nut primary challenge from some Gohmert Stockman type. “If we only had bump stock at the Alamo”
Flores will be lucky (or unlucky) if he’s not drummed out of the party for this.
NRA: Next, they will now convert us all to Muslims. And make us all gay. All anti-Constitution.
“We’re still learning what really happened there,” Grassley said, according to the Des Moines Register. “We need to wait and see what the police reports say. Were loopholes exploited? We need to study everything before we
make some judgmentdo nothing.”
FIFY, Grassley.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Here is another thought for the congressman… Do you think that if Mr Paddock’s use of his personal weapons of mass destruction had been under the auspices of a well regulated militia that he would have been able to kill this many people?
I hope that this distraction in LV in no way slows down the vote on legalizing silencers that the House planned for this week! We need silencers so that shooters don’t get an ear ache! Also, so that victims and first responders have less time to react to mass shootings! This is a humane bill that needs passage immediately!! We need gop to continue supporting whatever dumbass initiatives the NRA proposes…
We’re getting closer.
Someday soon I can commute to work in my Abrams tank and when road rage sets in, just pop the ole Howister Button.
It isn’t the NRA they fear, it’s Gerrymandered safe districts that allow 10 to 15% of the population control our gun regulations. If gun regulation was up for a majority vote it would pass by overwhelming majorities in both parties.

Ladies and gentlemen, your next retiree.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), the No. 2 Republican in the Senate, told reporters Wednesday afternoon on Capitol Hill that Congress should hold hearings on bump stocks once the investigation into the shooting has been completed.
…
He told reporters in Iowa that the Senate is unlikely to move forward with any gun control legislation, noting that a bill would need the support of 60 senators to go anywhere. He also argued that it’s premature to consider legislation before the investigation into the shooting is completed.
Curious how Republicans want to complete an investigation before considering gun restrictions when White Guy kills nearly five dozen people but don’t have the same impulse to wait to for all the facts when dark skinned persons commit violence… I wonder why that is…
Guns have proven to be worthless to modern society. It’s time to leave them in the dustbin of history.
Why do you hate American you coward?
Texas - land of steers and…well, you know.
Has he been primaried yet?
Iowa
The NRA has donated $76,400 to Iowa members of Congress who are currently in office.
- Sen. Chuck Grassley ®$27,750
- Rep. Steven A King ®$20,400
- Sen. Joni Ernst ®$9,900
- Rep. David Young ®$9,900
- Rep. Rod Blum ®$8,450

I’d like to have a record of which senators think it’s ok for people to circumvent the ban on automatic weapons. Also, while it may make sense to let the investigation finish before deciding some things, what could the investigation possibly reveal about bump stocks that senators don’t already know?
