Discussion: GOP Congressional Committee Chair: Goal Is To 'Raise A S*** Ton Of Money'

A technical question:

How many fuckwads are there in a shit-ton?

Money only goes so far, dickhead, especially when you are anchored to an unpolished turd like Donald Trump. But I’m sure that, when your electoral plans go awry, you’ll find a way to take the campaign money you’ve raised and pad your personal accounts, like all of you corrupt GOP motherfuckers do.

A little OT, but sometimes the gods and goddesses do smile upon us:

Personally, I think Sir Patrick Stewart has far less facial hair.

The right will never to be concerned about raising a shitload, technical term, of money, because they’ll always have the gazillionaire hedge fund manager.

Nick Patterson, a former colleague of Mercer’s, said, “In my view, Trump wouldn’t be President if not for Bob.”

Well, it depends if it’s a metric shit-ton or a Friedman shit-ton.

Money will help but hopefully people will see that republicans in general and Donald in particular, suck.

Yep, a sh*t ton of cash is always better than not. Having said that, - in the end, if the policies that you’re trying to enact are antithetical to the needs of your base, it don’t really mean much.

See: Whitman, Meg, CA Gov. race, 2010.

I’m sure money helps with things like candidates hitting the air waves, traveling to campaign and hire good people but they still have to have a good message. With the orange anchor dragging them down as well as their Party not getting shit done theyre going to have their work cut out for them

That said, with gerrymandering the Republicans still have the upperhand. Why they still need to “raise a shit ton of money” means they feel a bit threatened. This may good for Democrats.

I am not naïve. But. I hate these mofo’s with every bone in my body . I prefer to think of myself as idealistic. Still.

Please, this is a family site, TPM. When referring to GOP contributions in the future, just call it “dirty” money.

It works on so many levels.

Don’t forget the added benefit of treating your constituents as chumps. A feature, not a bug.

Gee, why not just run on their Congressional records? Surely the public will reward them for their accomplishments, no?

Well, if there is any group today that knows how to deal with a ton of shit, it’s the Republicans…just look at the mess they pulled out of their asses last week.

Apparently Bob’s a cat person, I love cats, but I can’t stand Bob or his daughter.

Yes, the wicked daughter, another pair in it for themselves.

I think if the election were next week the Democrats would be in a position to raise a fair bit of money themselves. That may not change—it may even become truer—by Nov. 2018. Just sayin’.

One shit ton or how ever many shit tons of moolah they throw into conning the American people, the real ace in the hole they have, and have always had, is the American people are a stupid people for the most part.

Too many.
