Discussion: GOP Commentator Ana Navarro Calls Trump's Attacks On Judge 'Disgusting'

Had she stood up to her party when vilifying Muslims she might have some credibility.

Thank you, Ana. Will you now recommend, nay insist that the Republican Party deny Trump the nomination?

Since the evangelicals won’t defend the Christian values this country was strictly founded upon, I will:

Exodus 22:27: “You shall not revile judges.”

But she’s still going to vote for him, right?

Paul Ryan needs to set her priorities straight before she upsets the apple cart.

With each passing day, this becomes all the more apparent. This candidate doesn’t just have a few personality quirks - he’s fundamentally incapable of operating in the real world.

But what does the G.O.P. do at this late date? Denying Trump the nomination would probably provoke riots at the convention. And who’s the knight in shining armor? Ted Cruz? His sociopathy is hardly an improvement on Trump’s narcissism.

Bizarre as it may seem, for the down-ballot Republican candidates, the best thing would be an uncontested Presidential election. They’d actually have a much better chance of hanging on to the House and Senate.

Heart Arrhythmia.
If it’s all been a con, then as Henry Gondorff might say, you gotta keep their con, after you took em.
Trump develops a non-fatal, easily forged disqualifying medical condition, forced to drop out at a strategic time.

Agree. If you don’t stand up, they’ll come for you too.

But only to deny Clinton.

It occurs to me Republicans have a fundamental misunderstanding of the primary process. I’m almost certain they’ve been told about it too. But they continue to stand aside while their nominee is chosen and THEN give him a serious vetting. I hope they never learn.

In Trump’s case, the con of a lifetime is a family affair.

Donald: “I got scruples. You know what that is? Scruples?”

Ivanka: “No, I don’t know what it is, but if you got 'em, it’s a sure bet they belong to somebody else!”

Ana, I’ve seen you on TV before, including appearances on Bill Maher’s show. You seem like a decent person. You should really reconsider your choice of political parties.

I don’t think its going to have to be forged. And everyday I just suspect more strongly, that Ivanka, Melenia, etc. are quite aware of it and have been treating him secretly for it. What “it” is, I am not a doctor so I can’t say exactly…but its a mental disorder, and it seems to bet getting worse the deeper we get into the campaign.

Check out his speech last night in San Jose. And no, I am not talking about calling his wife Ivanka (which IS pretty horrible on multiple levels), I am talking about…listen to his actual speech patterns. It sounds like he is slurring throughout. And since he doesn’t drink, the only think I can come up with is…he was medicated, probably after an “episode” relating to Hillary’s speech.

Well, it’s certain that he has some level of first-year-whatever-level-diagnosis NPD. The question is, is he actually medicated for it? He don’t seem like the type to me. A lot of the external bluster we see reflects actual pillars of his psyche. The guy thinks evaluating mistakes is unhealthy, he really doesn’t have a need to cope, he just goes with it instead.

I am increasingly coming to believe that any poll that uses a “likely voter” screen in this election, even in the last three weeks needs to be viewed skeptically. LV screens are going to screen out an awful lot of what’s bound to be a flood of first time hispanic voters.
