Many or most of these refugees are fleeing ISIS itself. What do Goppers think should happen to them? Send ´em back?
-
The passport that identified the terrorist as someone who went through Greece might very well be a forgery.
-
ISIS wants to stop the refugee flow as well, as it diminishes the number of their subjects, and makes them look like an unpopular government; which, in a massive understatement, they are.
I assume all these GOPers asked W. not to allow any more Saudi immigrants after 9-11.
And we are sure that objective journalists everywhere will ask all the GOPers just that.
Oh waitâŚ
Someoneâthe President, or Joe Biden, or maybe Hillary, needs to stand up and say, âThis is just plain stupid.â No fancy words, nothing about how people are entitled to their opinion. Nothing about how the US is a nation of immigrants, just âThis is dumb.â
Every time there is a horrific event such as this, they immediately lurch as far right as they can without any hesitation. It is usually accompanied by a litany of right-wingers and ex-military ops personnel spewing all sorts of hate to embolden their desire to bomb entire regions with little justification. And the journalists respond with nodding heads. And when a token rational person is brought on their programs, they immediately either belittle them or attack them.
Because of course they did. GOP is nothing without a scapegoat for hatred.
Lets all have some more fear⌠fear, fear, fear your shadow it is following youâŚ
With all the vetting that goes on the chances are slim, they will never be none.
Dear GOP, ISIS thanks for reacting exactly as they would want you to react!
WaitâŚisnât it too soon after the tragedy to discuss how to address it? Or is it different because a Muslim pulled the trigger?
âThere is no meaningful risk of Christians committing acts of terror. If there were a group of radical Christians pledging to murder anyone who had a different religious view than they, we would have a different national security situation,â Cruz said,
âŚWith no sense of irony whatsoever. It is mighty hard to find a KKK cell, or abortion clinic bombers, or neonazi and white supremacists who do not claim their violence is justified by Christianity.
ISIL made it clear that they are targeting the West to turn Western nations against Muslims in hopes of driving them into the arms of ISIL. Thus, the Republicans along with Marie le Penn plan on doing the work of ISIL just the way that they did the work of Al-Qaida a decade and a half ago. People forget that bin Laden deliberately stated that they were planning on drawing the US into a quagmire as well as using the upping of security to bankrupt the US. ISIL has pretty much stated that they want the West to turn against Islam so that this will drive the whole of Islam into ISILâs arms.
The logic is flawed, of course, because even if there is a panic and hatred against Muslims grows in the West, it will drive some Muslims into the arms of ISIL, but no where near as many as they think. If the refugees are denied safety in Europe, they will go somewhere else. Somewhere which cannot absorb them or handle the influx as well, but they will go elsewhere.
Hamas and Hezballah did something that ISIL, the Taliban and al-Qaida have all refused to do- and that is feed their people. This is why Hamas and Hezballah have been so powerful over time.
Okay, Iâm droning on hereâŚ
So this is where the GOP is at, too afraid of the enemy to help the very people fleeing them. And these chicken shits think they should lead in a time of war? The entire right is now driven by itâs fear, itâs become defined by it. For a party that tries to paint themselves as âbraveâ and âtoughâ they sure do love letting their fear dictate their every decision.
The U.S. left really needs to start pushing this angle, almost every policy stance of the right seems to be based on their cowardliness, from guns in schools to refugees.
I think this is great. As a presidential candidate, you are supposed to project strength, be brave. âWe have nothing to fear, but fear itself.â
But for these chuckleheads, being president means being a fuckin chickenshit: âWe have nothing to fear except the fucking WORLD!!! AHHH, Iâm so afraid of non-white refugees! Especially the ones that donât share my wackadoo religious beliefs! Wonât you be afraid with me? Letâs cower together!â
GOP response to terrorists: âWe are frightened! We are terrorized! We are weak, weak, weak!â
If the terrorists pose as refugees to gain admittance into certain countries, whose to say that they arenât posing as Christians to get right into the heart of biblical America, AKA the Republican stronghold.
I have no idea who the Republican nominee will be, Iâm thinking Rubio, but whichever one of them gets the title, they had best do their homework. They could actually get the job then theyâll be faced with the same neocons that corrupted the easily corruptible George the Lesser. Does anyone think that Rubio or Cruz would be calling the shots if elected, pleeeeeease.
The Repub candidate doesnât exist that wouldnât bow down to the war mongers and war profiteers. If they did, they wouldnât be a Republican.
