If it was for the Hasty Pudding Club’s Woman of the Year, that’s considered OK.
Hypocrisy is a very tough row to hoe.
And the Republicon clown car rides on
OK, so he hung out with a couple of sailors, so what?
This is a distraction, who cares if he was a drag queen or worked at a gay nightclub or was even gay, the issue should be this statement:
“I don’t really understand how you can separate the fact that marriage is a religious institution,”
That alone makes him unsuitable for public office as marriage is entirely a legal matter when it comes to personal and civil rights, religion has nothing to do with it as far as anyone in government is concerned. That he doesn’t recognize it as a legal matter is what makes him unfit for office.
His problems with the Miss Gay America pageant were as late as 2011.
Not only is he a flaming queen—he’s a flaming hypocrite as well.
But then, that’s SOP for a conservative.
I think this brings the GOP full-circle.
In the topsy-turvy teabagger culture that dominates the New South, this doesn’t surprise me in the least.
Comedy: Sometimes it writes itself.
" As for whether he considers himself an ex-gay, Wiles told Business Insider he didn’t want to comment on that. "
What a piece of work. Did Marcus Bachmann discipline this barbarian, and pray his gay away?
I have a feeling that he is always eager to throw his legs up to Jesus and caution to the four winds.
Just because I’ll play with them doesn’t mean I’ll marry them.
"As for whether he considers himself an ex-gay,… "
What a great reporter, sounds like a Liberty University grad.
Obviously, he’s in it for the money. Politics, not the drag queen thing.
“I learned a lot of lessons, some of them, well most of them, the hard way,” he told the website.
Do tell, how hard was it?
Of course. Because nothing says “closted-homosexual” more than a GOPer who’s fervently opposed to anything gay.
Everything the GOPers do and say is supposedly based on the history of the country and the constitution, which they bring up constantly; but whatever they did previously in their own lifetimes doesn’t count.
Maybe he and Steve Hickey should team up and probe the anal sex issue more thoroughly. I’m sure they could get to the bottom of the matter in no time, injecting some light into the dark matter of the subject. No doubt if they team up, they will come to a happy ending.
“That’s generally how I learned, but I did learn from my mistakes.”
Did he learn that life as a female impersonator is a drag?
