Those who can’t do become teachers.
Those who can’t practice law become those who make it.
Hope I still get my bonus. Tuscany for fall vacation is waiting…
No, no, no…it disqualifies him as a lawyer (imagine that), not as a Republican.
He’s very tired of being called “Uncle Clitoris”.
I have to say that I’m a little surprised that the Nevada Bar offers continuing legal education credits for basic principles of law. And cripes - Georgetown Law? Has anyone actually done a check on this?
described in a performance evaulation by his law firm as a “train wreck” who “doesn’t even have the basic skill set.”
should go to seminars to help “address basic legal principles” as he had “judgement issues and doesn’t seem to understand what to do.”
This could be said of MOST Republican candidates and those serving in congress.
LOL! Where in France? I am in Bavaria so a Kraut ‘Heaven on Earth’…
Ah! That explains your lederhosen.
Begs the question, how did he get hired in the first place?
Cartman in Lederhosen. Good deerskin ones don’t chafe ‘Teh Boys’…
He’s one of the new breed of legacy candidates. Unequipped to do what he’s pursuing but daddy, grandfather, uncle, etc., did it so he thinks he can. It’s similar to dubya being admitted to Yale.
TPM: A Republican candidate for attorney general in Nevada was described in a performance evaulation by his law firm as a “train wreck” who “doesn’t even have the basic skill set.”
Sounds like a Tea Party Paragon!
Poor kid, slumming it in Tuscany while I’m only a few hours from the Wisconsin Dells.
I learned this much Italian for my visit there: “Cameriere -un bicchiere di vino bianco, molto fresco, per favore.”
Ha! Ain’t no kid (51ish) but love the adventure. Vino bianco… will have my fill - staying at a Agritourismo…
No, associates do not get a document to sign when they have their annual reviews, at least not this type of document. This is clearly an internal document that the reviewing partners would use to guide their conversation perhaps and to communicate among the partners, but Laxalt would never have seen this document. I have no doubt that this document is genuine.
But man, it’s really brutal, and the leaking of it is pretty shocking (putting aside my schadenfreude…). But for the fact that his last name is Laxalt and he’s the son of Domenici, this guy would have been toast.
And I now have to wonder what all those past reviews of me said…
Oh, Paris. I’ve heard that Bavaria’s chock full of conservative Catholics- true?
HE WOuld MAke AN ExceLLENt JUdge. UneNcuMBered BY a BAsic KNOwleDGE of LAW and LAWYering, HE’s nOT taiNTed BY the LIBRULIStic TENDEncies OF LIBtard COLLEge LAW profESSors AND KNOwledge STEEPed in LIBTaristics, BUT ratTHER caN interPREt a LITERAL interpreTATION OF the ConstITUTIOn based ON ConserVATIve Principles, THE Way IT was MEANt to BE!!!1!1!!!one!!!1!!!
“Begs the question” does not mean to generate a question. Laxalt got hired with no solid credentials when it could be argued many are needed and it begs the question.
Those who can’t lawyer strive to become DA’s?
True. But not the Catholic League types from the US. I get my extra 8- 10 days of vacation days each year due to these Catholics. I will not complain…they are good for something!
