Sorry that most of the world doesn’t live in the fever pitch swamp of InfoWars. Sometimes facts matter, Donnie.

A response of ‘oh just shut up and stop whining about everything already, snowflake’ would have been more appropriate and effective.

a sting against some far-right sites’ credibility.

More like a flaming stick in the eye. Perfect.

That they would even have to respond to the Dotard …

I can not even imagine living in a place where all media content was dictated by Trump. But he would do so of he could.

Sucks to be snowflake in chief.

Trump: If a search algorithm doesnt show conservative sites on top, it is a liberal Obama loving algorithm.

Trump is just realizing we all hate him and google shows it in its results? What a dotard.

I think they actually announced that they were removing Alex Jones for something like exceeding lifetime dose of hate speech.

Of course, 2 Scoops can still get his Infowars fix, albeit second hand, from Hannity/Carlson et al.

The internet should give Trump the “santorum” treatment! See how he likes that search!

Aren’t Mattis and the head of the Joint Chiefs making some kind of announcement today?

Google doesn’t present apolitical results out of the goodness of their heart. They do it because politicizing their results would be bad for business. Their search results would be less valuable and hurt the bottom line.

Of course, Donald Trump is a shitty, idiot businessman, so it is not surprising that he doesn’t understand this.

Joint presser I think but Trump is not scheduled to be there. It may have happened already.

Donnie doesn’t understand technology and certainly doesn’t ‘get’ pigeon droppings…it’s just another case of ‘I’m so paranoid and they are out to get me’ crap that he pulls weekly against yet ANOTHER American company…one would almost think he was in the pay of the Russians as much as he attacks us…

… we don’t bias our results toward any political ideology. Every year, we issue hundreds of improvements to our algorithms to ensure they surface high-quality content in response to users’ queries. We continually work to improve Google Search and we…

Don’t take this wrong–Google’s services are amazing, and I’ve no reason to question its integrity–but here’s the problem going into the future: a small group of privateers controlling access to the world’s information. I’ve long thought that once web companies obtain a certain reach of public influence, they should be regulated as a public utility–with a board of elected overseers.

Of course, that creates a whole new set of problems. Who is going to be knowledgeable enough to judge whether an internet company is working only in the public’s interest?

A strange new world is here and will only get more so.

C’mon, Mr. Krugman, you had the opportunity to use ‘dotardminent’ and completely missed the ball.
