The headline isn’t really accurate here. Gohmert isn’t saying he’ll quit if the Iran deal passes, he’s offering to quit if the House and Senate treat the Iran deal as a treaty (and therefore presumably requiring the 2/3ds support that is constitutionally required). It’s a totally empty offer because there’s no way that’s happening.

That’s not even an issue as his ilk knows full well that the only country that stands to “lose” if Iran ever produced a bomb is Israel. No threat to us, just as was the case with Iraq and its imaginary WMD.
