What a bunch of bloody idiots!!!

I felt bad for the suckers who got sucked into, e.g., the Trump University griftgraft. Those people really were idiot suckers trying to better their own lives.

I don’t feel a microgram of pity for the hapless racist buffoons who are throwing their money at such obvious fraud. Part these fools from their money faster. You won’t hear a peep from me.

Some things are beyond revulsion. This regime and it’s spittle dripping supporters must be utterly destroyed.

The baby has pneumonia now.

So that’s what, about $50k after trump and his clowns take their cuts? That’ll go far…

Perhaps their next project should be gofundme campaigns for contructing more detention camps or bales of razor wire.

Make the page available in Spanish and accept pesos. Maybe Mexicans will want to chip in…

Absolutely. This is such an obvious scam. And, after they’ve given their rent money to this scam and it never happens - then what??

What does happen to GoFundMe money if the intended use never happens? tRump is probably eyeing this and wondering how he can get his.

at that rate it would reach the needed $12b by 2050? Not sure how to calculate this but seems improbable and the giving will wane over time.

This thing is a fraud, 4 million is a good amount for retirement in Costa Rica.

Impressive! In a mere 2 days, this GFM project has established a giving rate which, assuming no abatement from this presumed peak value, should reach it’s TARGET of $1b in a little over 13.5 years into the future, or sometime during the summer months of 2031.

Presumably donors are fully aware that the $1b target is substantially symbolic as President Trump himself seeks five times that amount from Congress (purely as bridge financing, course, as he expects the U.S. to be reimbursed for the costs of completing the wall through the synergies of the new Not-NAFTA Oosmkah.

Indeed, the most credible estimates for costs of constructing alone (leaving aside maintenance and replacement costs) total not quite $22b.

If left entirely to the GFM project, at the current level of giving the full costs of just construction would probably be reached in about 300 years (around 2320), or just under a third longer than the time since to the U.S. was founded until today.

Good job, everybody!

From the page

Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society.

According to data provided for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there have been 260,743 homicides in the United States from 2002 through 2016 (the most recent year available.) It thus seems mathematically impossible that undocumented immigrants, who make up roughly 3 percent of the population, would have committed just under a quarter of all homicides in the United States during that time period. The bogus figure appears to have originated in a May 2006 post by Republican Rep. Steve King of Iowa complaining about the “Day Without An Immigrant” campaign calling attention to the contributions of immigrants to U.S. community.

Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to use the Services to:

Seeing how they won’t be getting that 5 billion, its time to start the clock.

That page is headed to the bin and anyone who donated will be getting their money back.

Something tells the statistical graph of this project will start to look like his Nibs poll numbers in about a week…

Why the fuck do they do these things? O my god. This has got to stop.

The most infuriating part of this nonsense is that those who can find millions for a stupid border wall are the same crowd that will rail against essential programs like SNAP and WIC as “wasteful spending”.

That mostly go to white rural Trump supporters. Go figure.

$1 bilion goal…

WhIch might get you 5% of “The Wall” built. Maybe 100 miles out of the roughly 2,000 that run along the border with Mexico?

They’ve got enough so far to fund a couple of “samples” though. Good job!

We only need to look at all walls in history to understand what a ridiculous boondoggle it is to build a 2,000-mile-long wall to “keep people out” (or in, as the case may be).

The Great Wall of China. Hadrian’s Wall. The Iron Curtain. The list is long and illustrious, and so far, 100% of them have ultimately failed.

They are a waste of time and treasure. Isn’t it better to enact policies that partner with the countries in peril to reduce the suffering there? That’s the best “anti-immigrant” policy one could ask for. And it tends to have a lower net cost over the long run.

I know. I’m preaching to the choir here…
