And justifiably so! Itās a shame that this same standard has not been applied to those who have called for similar violence against our President and his family.
All this incessant talk radio blather has pushed the boundaries of civility to a point where some people no longer recognize that theyāre fomenting and aiding material harm to others.

Given the over-the-line rhetoric tossed out against President Obama, that this rises to that level is disjointed to be sure.
That said, the threat to a free press which a Trump presidency represents is curiously absent from many media heathers and the corporations behind them.
While it may seem over-the-top and conjure images of death camps, it is not wrong to point out that Trump is an authoritarian and a fascist wannabe. And the danger is real.

There is an interesting aspect to this, however, that should not be overlooked. I have said to a couple of people that within the first year of a Trump presidency the Republican house would be faced with a situation that was unequivocally an impeachable offense. Trump will not allow himself to be thwarted by any of the normal institutional constraintsāsee at this point his continuing attacks on a federal judge hearing the case against Trump University. This will pose a serious challenge to the Republicans in the house, who will finally be put in the position of having to either impeach, or cave to a collapse of the constitution. Clearly talking about patriots assassinating a President Trump gets you nowhere, but the possibilityāor to my mind, the likelihoodāof a very real and unequivocal constitutional crisis is well within the frame of what we will be dealing with.
