Wow. I got nuthinââŚ
âIf you donât leave now, youâll lose your soul,â
Maybe in MLB you can swing at a fat pitch butâŚI canât. I just canât.
Some of the Stupid Things Said By the Beckster:
-
During his âI Have A Schemeâ speech, Beck claimed half a million people showed up. (Actually, 85,000 did.)
-
Claimed to his followers at the âI Have a Schemeâ rally that he held the original inaugural statement in his hand that was penned by George Washington. (True to form, Beck admitted later that this was a lie but it really didnât matter.)
-
Claimed Green Jobs presidential adviser Van Jones had been convicted of a felony. ( Beck admitted much later that this was a lie but too but that it really didnât matter. This is a guy whoâs supposed to stand for honor and integrity?)
-
Claimed that Robert Creamer, a liberal activist, was a âunrepentant convicted felon.â (Ummm. No. Creamer was very repentant, confessing to bank fraud and paying all the money back that he owed the IRS, plus penalties. Beck also said the security breach at a state dinner November 24, 2009 was to distract attention from Creamer. )
-
Swore that 45% of doctors said they would quit if health care reform passed. (Itâs passed. They arenât quitting.)
-
This was a real beaut. Beck claimed that John Holdren, the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, promoted abortions and putting substances in drinking water that would leave people sterile. ( He never said any such thing.)
-
Back when he was going Full Metal Birther. Beck said we are the only country in the world that has citizenship on birth, (No we arenât. Guatemala, Canada, Romania, Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, to mention a few, all have it.)
-
Back during the Victory Mosque controversy, the Beckster claimed that the wife of Imam Rauf, the muslim heading up the construction of the Park 51 project claims that all Americans hate Muslims. (She didnât, she said it was the protestors at the project who seemed to hate Muslims.)
Bull.
Becksterâ, do NOT include me (we, us, theyâŚ) in all of us.
You fanned the hot winds of the Sal Russo fart episode, nationally, until even Joseph Goebbels, er, I mean Roger Ailes thought better of your style.
Not to worry though, he still has inane personalities a plenty as the demographic for that business model, slowly succumbs to actuarial tables.
We older somethings, who still have a brain and some sense of morality never signed up to begin with.
Heâs a sick person. He needs helpânot a platform. Somebody take away his microphone and media access.
This is not newsworthy. Now, what WOULD be newsworthy would be if heâd claimed to have said something credible or intelligent.
âIf you donât leave now, youâll lose your soul,â
Were you hearing the voices Glenn? Or was there a third person in the bubble?
Your grifting must not be producing these daysâŚ
He answered questions with introspection and thought⌠nah, it was a dog dragging his ass across the carpetâŚ
âWhen you live your life for five hours a day on live television or radio, youâre going to say stupid things.â
Glen, you were saying stupid things long before you ever got on TV or radio. Ask your kids.
I guess this explains the melting of the polar caps, climate change and droughts. The stupidity didnât start with Fox.
Nice work; prit-ty, pri-ty good.
(tho, I hope you agree, itâs not unfair to note as well, krgthulu-like, that itâs not as if Beck left behind a slim record of utterly mendacious foxity)
Glenn, the arc of your career is long but it bends toward stupidity. Itâs not just stupid here and there. Your whole schtick, from the little Iâve had the stomach to listen to, is that all the changes that are frightening to unintelligent, ignorant people are a) catastrophically bad and b) caused by liberals. Thatâs fundamentally stupid, and itâs your whole life, basically. And itâs helped poison the discourse and cripple the country. Youâre wrong about everything. So spare us your little crumbs of apology, you charlatan. Just fuck off and go back to counting your money.
and shame on CNN for giving him an interview where he was allowed to expound as if he is important, insightful, and relevant to our future.
Beck is still saying stupid things.
And lying.
And lying again.
Stating the obvious doesnât get him any dispensation for being such a total dick 100% of the time.
He said stupid things before Faux and has said stupid things after Faux.
Saying âoopsâ isnât enough. I donât know what is enough, but a tepid admission of guilt ainât it.
GlennDUH is what happens when you have a dry drunk alcoholic with a family history of severe mental illness who converts to Mormonism.
phuck CNN and Stelter for having this racist asshole on their show
The 50 Worst Things Glenn Beck Said On Fox News
June 30, 2011
I actually tried to make it through this interview today because it caught my interest to see if Beck was, in fact, regretful of the countless inaccuracies and hate-filled commentary spewed from his shows over the years. Unfortunately, it was nothing even close to that. His âregretsâ were surrounded by false equivalencies (âthe left does it too!â) and he conveniently slips in inaccurate interpretations of history when possible. Overall, it was a lame attempt by Beck to regain some relevency and ratings outside of the extremist element that has been cultivating.
The most troubling aspect of the interview was his predictable rant about the Federal Reserve and how are loose monetary policies will turn us into Greece!!! It would be have been apropos at that moment for the lame interviewer from CNN to point out that Beck profits handsomely from the anti-monetarist fear doctrine that he has been spewing from the gold investment organizations he is aligned with. Not to mention that he, and all of the other gold bugs, have been dead wrong about the runaway inflation and spiking interest rates that they have been predicting for the last 5 years.
Overall, noting at all to see here.
