There are no sure things in politics. It’s all percentages.

But I cannot think of a higher-percentage Presidential election prediction in the modern political era.

BTW, they didn’t actually say Hillary was a lock to win the presidency in 2007-8. They said she was a lock for the Democratic nomination. The undercurrent was always that she might lose in the general.
