Discussion: Giuliani: Trump Could Have 'Shot James Comey' And Not Be Prosecuted For It

Give him time, Ghoulie. With your inane / insane chatter, Dotard is capable of just about anything.

FSM knows. the GOP sure wouldn’t stop him.

If Trump shot Comey, or a “leaker,” or some other accused liberal, or even freaking Melania in the Oval Office, I’m confident that a majority of Republicans would not support his impeachment – both in Congress and the electorate.

And that’s extremely frightening. We’re farther down the path than I think some of us realize or accept.

Rudy’s confused. The timeline would go:

A. Trump shoots man after long period of demonizing man to his supporters

B. Fox news runs 24/7 coverage of how man was truly responsible for his own murder, reviving the template they use for black men holding objects

C. GOPers poll their constituents to see if they support murder-related impeachment. Polls show support for arresting Hillary Clinton. Impeachment is tabled until we can get to the bottom of “what happened” in Benghazi.

Can a sitting FLOTUS be prosecuted if she shoots anyone in the WH? Asking for someone who wants everyone to #be best.

The scenarios used to describe how untouchable Trump is in this twisted worldview are becoming so hyperbolic. I think this is an attempt to numb everyone to probable and demonstrable offenses by contrasting them with the outlandish hypotheticals.

The cartoonish situation in which we have a West Wing full of comic book villains makes a mockery of the office, the Constitution, and our justice system.

Whatever Mueller has as evidence -likely proof- of criminal acts, it should be so iron-clad that no one in the House and Senate would defend him. But then, I am a realist when it comes to surveying the current crop of solons and taking count of those who will defend the indefensible.

Looks like Bernie Kerik is still raiding the evidence lockers to score meth for Rudy.

He would have shot Comey in the back.
Or his usual way of hiring someone and then take credit.

“If he shot James Comey, he’d be impeached the next day,” Giuliani told HuffPost on Sunday. “Impeach him, and then you can do whatever you want to do to him.”

As currently composed the Senate would fail to muster 67 votes to convict at an impeachment trial. Trump would remain President after committing a murder, and his prosecution would have to await the end of his term in office.
Anonymous GOP politicians would say in fact Trump had done the nation a service by killing Comey, as he was a traitor and the genesis of a coup. I daresay a few would forgo anonymity and just come out and publicly declare it. Followed by advocating the next President pardon Trump for the murder. You know, to spare the nation the ordeal of a trial and get on with the business of governance.

Oh, blow me, Rudy. We all know Trump doesn’t have the balls to shoot Comey. He would have ordered Hope Hicks to do it while she screamed, "It was self-defense!!! That FBI guy tried to grab me by my pu**y!!!

Not if they have a “genius” visa. It would just validate having the visa.

“Well, perhaps President Trump DID shoot FBI Director James Comey in the back while Mr. Comey was exiting the Oval Office after a meeting, but at least President Trump didn’t get a blowjob from an intern!” - Maggie Haberman, Brenda Starr of the New Millennium.

Since Obama (at least) the President has maintained a “Kill List” of people that he wants to assassinate. These killings are executed outside of any judicial review and has included American citizens.

But it seems that most Americans don’t care because people on the “Kill List” are being killed by drones in foreign countries populated by mostly brown people. Of course, in the United States, white police shoot and kill brown people with relative impunity, too.

But the bottom line is that the President of the United States (before Trump) has asserted the right to kill American citizens without due process or any judicial review.

That is a fact.

If Giuliani has any family members who care about him, which of course may not be the case, they should get him out of the public eye asap. Clearly a danger to himself and others. Get Daddy declared incompetent, split what money he has & do your country a service.

Take a corrupt and cruel megalomaniac and tell him no laws apply to him as long as he’s president. What could possibly go wrong?
