Discussion: Giuliani: Obama's A 'Patriot,' Just Less So Than Every Other President (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #233444

Giuliani…Presidents Reagan, Bush I and Bush II sought to destroy the founding principals of this nation…to me, you and they are about as unpatriotic as they get.

Giuliani, Walker, Trump, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Joni Ernst, Ted Cruz, ad nauseum… So many asses and not enough horses.

“What I’m saying is that in his rhetoric, I very rarely hear him say the things that I used to hear Ronald Reagan say, the things I used to hear Bill Clinton say, about how much he loves America.”

So your hearing has deteriorated now that you are an old coot. Spring for a hearing aid.

The more flags they drape themselves in, the more they talk about being “patriots” who “love their country more than anything,” the more I think they’re nothing more than a bunch of self-serving liars.

He tried to promote a criminal for head of US Homeland Security. Is Giuliani a double agent?

He’s on a roll…

I guess.

The Republican Party is totally in King Lear territory now, willing to give up the kingdom to charlatans and nihilists, just as long as the vultures are willing to pay superficial lip service to the nationalistic egos of bitter old men like Giuliani.

They must be so proud of what they’ve become!

“hearts and minds” seems to be making a strong comeback. someone told cons to start throwing that out again. it must be because obama hates america.

Thinking about this a little more, it makes me even angrier.

Obama isn’t running for political office again, so it’s not possible to attribute this smear to an all too familiar Repug political attack in order to gain votes.

Rather, the motive has to be to try diminish the POTUS’ standing in the world, or an attempt to diminish a pretty impressive legacy to date.

If it’s the former, who really has the patriotism deficit?

I was thinking of one word I could use to describe Giuliani, but there are so many to choose from: contemptible degrading disgraceful disreputable loathsome reprehensible shameful viles wretched and despicable.

Who cares what this jerk off thinks or says about anything?

He is less than a non-player in politics these days. He is a joke, so why keep talking about a has-been?

Irrelevant?

In the past being this disrespectful of the position of the President, even if you disagreed with him, would have gotten the shit kicked out of him in the very neighborhoods this piece of shit grew up in. Clearly in the sixties and early seventies in the America Right or Wrong bumper sticker times.

When did “patriotic” become a synonym for “white”?
This old racist needs to go away.

Something tells me Rudy was the type of kid who ran around in grade school punching the kids who didn’t wear green on St. Patick"s Day (or perhaps the Italian tri-color on Columbus Day).

I tend to think Rudy is equal in intelligence to Rush, and his opinions equally valid. But in reality, if I were in a room with Rush, I could hide my feelings and restrain myself from vomiting. Rudy creeps me out to the point that I wouldn’t stay in a room with him. He reminds me of Gollum and a couple of other fictional characters who don’t bear mentioning in civil discourse.
