Really Rudy, this Trump defending thing is going to kill you. At your age the question you should be asking is “Should I be a SOB every minute of my whole life”. There are other pleasures in this life other than playing for power…

So who lies more, Giuliani or Trump? Also too, attorneys always represent their client’s interest regardless of the facts. Why does a statement from Giuliani have any credibility at all?

You’d think this whole crew is due for a come to Jesus moment, but I don’t think Jesus wants them anywhere close enough to experience it.

“Any suggestion from any source that the President counseled Michael Cohen to lie is categorically false,” Giuliani said in a statement,"

“Michael Cohen is a convicted criminal and a liar."

he has tapes

“To quote the prosecutors, he has traded on ‘a pattern of lies and dishonesty over an extended period of time,’ and for that ‘he is going to pay a very, very serious price.’”

He just described Trump

"Today’s claims are just more made-up lies born of Michael Cohen’s malice and desperation, in an effort to reduce his sentence.”

He’s again describing Trump

I wonder if this is a question Cohen will be allowed to answer when he appears before the House in Feb? Could get interesting if he swears to it under oath.

Lots of initial posts to an article contain quips and snark.

But it occurs to me that there are two things which should be pointed out…one fantastic and the other not so much

  • The Cohen Buzzfeed on Drumpf is a serious wound to Drumpf and his minions, signalling a more aggressive vigorous path toward our getting rid of this monster

  • Drumpf is a MASTER at a process in which every reversal he encounters in terms of there being more and more and more incriminating evidence against him and/or more and more more reversals which would fell a less-determined public figure then is followed by a “normalization” process in which the denials fly out, the MSM absorbs this and lowers standards for him and things then proceed. The upshot is that even MORE wrongdoing is accepted, normalized and absorbed. There are a few reasons for this. For example, people have to live their lives and they cannot be in crisis mode constantly. Another thing is the “innocent until proven guilty” tradition of our Criminal Justice System. For another, the GOP and FOX provide a “BothSides” narrative (also practiced by toads like Chuck Toad er…Chuck Todd). For another, our Fourth Estate has NEVER dealt with any public figure like Drumpf, who lies all the time.

The good news is that evidence is evidence and law enforcement is based on evidence. DRUMPF IS GOING DOWN . It is extremely important to develop “Drumpf-skills” to deal with this fucker.

I know I HAVE

Those who have should help the people who haven’t

“Made-up lies!”

Are they made-up lies, Rudy, or are they true lies? Which is it?

Why the fuck can’t the mainstream Media (talking you CNN) when they have Giuliani on start off by asking him about all of the times he has lied - run the tape- and then say “Sir, why should be believe your statements that Cohen is not credible or anything you say, given your long pattern of lying?”

The rule with Giuliani is not that you doubt him, but that you assume every fucking thing he says is a lie, unless there is irrefutable proof of what he is saying.

I give Rudy until his fourth Negroni of the day before he starts hedging.

made-up lies

As opposed to factual lies?

At this point, Giuliani’s responses could be a simulated by about twenty lines of code, along the lines of: noun, verb, deny, move the goalpost, go to “noun.”

Did anyone expect anything different?

I wonder what the difference is between a “made-up lie” and a regular lie.

Fuck Sideshow Rudy. Also, JM’s “Dangerous Game of Chicken” piece this morning is one of the best things he written in a while. The point of his editorials should by to provide insight, connections and perspective on “the news” and this one hit all the bases. Now if only we could comment on Editorial pieces… I mean… Come on, Josh.

Going to hell for this, but Rudy will more so twist than backtrack.

At last check, Trump is his boyfriend.

I don’t know -I’m still incredibly battle-scarred from the other day. After hearing “No collusion “, “No collusion” so many times that it’s now my mantra when I play with my worry beads, I come to find out the other day that there was collusion, just apparently not by Trump (or at least, that’s the story for now).

Rudy…Rudy…slow down, old man…you can’t just jump like that from one lie to another. You might get a hernia.
