I posted this in another thread, but to counter Rudy’s idiotic interpretation, here’s what came down.
Here’s Trump’s “joke”:
- Clinton wants to take your guns away;
- If she is elected, she will appoint Supreme Court Justices who will vote to let her take your guns away;
- Once that happens, there will be nothing we can do to stop her;
- Except maybe using the second amendment solution.
The structure of the “joke” very clearly has the use of the “second amendment solution” after SCOTUS has authorized the taking of guns, and not before.
That means he was joking about assassinating a sitting president of the United States over policy decisions.
That means he is advocating treason.
