I don’t know if this is a sign of changing times. The Girl Scouts have never been a fascist front organization like the Boy Scouts.

I love this! Considering that they are opening at the Gay Pride Center and welcoming transgender members, it is a move forward.

Yup, my rebellious liberal mom was my troop leader, and if the organization had been too regimented and conservative she couldn’t have stomached it. Still, no question that this is progress; so lovely to read about those happy kids and their families. Bless 'em all!

I’m very much hoping this means they welcome physical boys who identify as girls and daughters of LBGT families, and not that they are going to take girls identifying as boys and sons of LBGT families.
It’s the Girl Scouts, and should be fore girls. I have no issue with accepting people who identify as girls, but those who identify as boys should be in other organizations.
