Drain your mouth…

That would be toxic waste, and we have to think of future generations. I say blast him off into space.

Later, Gingrich added: “I personally, as a sense of humor, like the alligator and swamp language, and I think it vividly illustrates the problem, because all the people in this city who are the alligators are going to hate the swamp being drained. And there’s going to be constant fighting over it. But, you know, he is my leader and if he decides to drop the swamp and the alligator I will drop the swamp and the alligator.”

As wayward gangs of alligator people prey on defenseless white women…

I love his chinos btw.

It’s not a swamp. It’s now a precious wetland that must be conserved forever.

In other words, “Drain the Swamp” was all part of the con. Just like “Lock her up,” “You are going to be winning again,” “I’ll bring back the jobs,” “Build the wall,” “We will not touch Medicare or Social Security,”“I can be so presidential,” “I’m not a puppet,” etc., etc., etc.

Trump is the swamp and Gingrich is one of its alligators. As for pardoning his children and the rest of the crooks in his administration, that’s always step one for would bel dictators.

Gingrich recently said that the president has almost unlimited powers of time and space, so DJT can go back and edit his no longer helpful screeds.

Lamentably, his supporters took him seriously, They thought he’d “shake up Washington” rather than settle in to set new depths of corruption, influence-peddling, and undermining the middle and working classes in America.

Never drained swamp, just keeps on throwing in more alligators.

Well he has certainly shook up Washington…

Here are some other cute phrases that people will soon realize he was just kidding about:

  • I won’t touch Medicare
  • Social Security is sacred and I won’t go after it
  • I’m here for YOU! (note: I can’t wait for this one to play out…)
  • I’m gonna build that wall
  • Believe me!

and a plethora of talk about raises taxes on the wealthy, supporting the little guy, saving Big Coal, penalizing companies who offshore…

Okay, I’m already tired of all this winning.

This is so helpful of Gingrich to point this out.

Because we weren’t expecting this at all.

Since he said this on NPR just to stick it to everyone who already knew it, the Trump voters will never find out.

Next thing you know we’re going to find out he had no plans to lock up Hillary and there won’t be a better alternative to Obamacare.

It’s really hard to believe this guy used to be an academic. His Ph.D. dissertation, Belgian Education Policy in the Congo 1945–1960. He was a faculty member of West Georgia College (never heard of it) in the 70s until he was denied tenure. Then he ran for congress and the rest is infamy. No wonder Krugman described him as a stupid person’s idea of what a smart person sounds like. The rubes mistake bloviation [1] for erudition.

austin_dave, I think you have the correct take on this…

At first, I thought that Trump’s base would be upset by this, but now it’s their swamp, it needs the EPA’s support to keep the fresh water out…

Gingrich is a vile, grotesque, infantile man-child whose nickname should be "Swampy."
