i wish the body-slam euphemism would go away. the reporter was choked, thrown to the ground, and repeatedly punched. a ‘body-slam’ makes me think of wrestling and this was not that at all. even fox news(!) reports this:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/05/24/greg-gianforte-fox-news-team-witnesses-gop-house-candidate-body-slam-reporter.html

“At that point, Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him. Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the reporter. As Gianforte moved on top of Jacobs, he began yelling something to the effect of, ‘I’m sick and tired of this!’”

now excuse me while i pour acid in my eyes.

When they meet, I hope the two gentlemen will immediately address this subject:

As they say, don’t bring a microphone to a WWE bout.

…without cameras rolling and extra witnesses.

I would hope that the “sit down” would be in the presence of Ben Jacobs’ lawyer, Gianforte’s lawyer, and a court reporter.

Can they meet in a Stand Your Ground state?

I’ll take “Things Meth Heads Do” for $800, Alex.

F*ck sitting down, let’s see a picture of them standing side by side so the world can see that this “manly man” attacked a person barely half his size. Republicans = Bullies and Cowards.

Well yes. But consider why Giantorte was running. He is sitting on 60 to 300 million and as a Congressman can rapidly multiply that using legal insider trading tips. It is just a business decision for him to run. Secondly, he has enough money to crush any opposition in the race because of campaign finance laws that Congress never gets around to fixing, what with the laws already being “fixed.”

What’s in it for Jacobs? Nothing.
