Good article by WaPo Fact Checker debunks Warren’s 1/1024 ancestry by Trump, GOP, Fox … and the Fact Checker itself (in their initial assessment).
The report said that Warren had 10 times more Native American ancestry than the reference set from Utah, and 12 times more than the set from Britain. The report also said that the long segment on Chromosome 10 indicated that the DNA came from a relatively recent ancestor.
I’m still torn as to whether she should have released any DNA results, for like Obama’s birth certificate, it will be, and certainly was, misappropriated by her enemies. However, everyone has a right to DNA test- thousands do it every day- and the results say she has 10-12-fold higher Native American aspect over a similar local population or first Europeans, contrary to the GOP asses like Chaffetz, Trump, and Fox.
