I’m sure this will make Pence get right on it, then.

Puts Republican officeholders in a quandary. Which of their Gods do they obey? Money or SkyDaddy?

It’s time for the Republicans to understand that they can serve either the Social Conservatives or the Corporate Conservatives, but not both any more.

When a corporate officer resigns from their job to run for office, the Republicans tell us that “they know what they are talking about. They are CREATORS!”

Wonder why Republicans are silent when the corporate types denounce right wing social agendas?

Money. Sky daddy talk is just a means to that end for most GOP pols.

Until GE starts divesting itself from ANY Indiana investments, Emmelt’s letter will be neatly slid into a file and six months from now will blink at any sudden flash of sunlight.

It’ll be interesting to watch the R candidates, including John Ellis, Walker, Rube, et al who have to date said they support and stand behind what Pence has done, untangle themselves at a later date. Take that stance to a general election. See how it flies.

Not to worry Pence. What possible connections could there be between General Electric and General Elections?

Honorable Mike Pence

Honorable?!?!?! Maybe I should reflect on the April Fool aspect of the heading as Mike’s about as far from honorable as a human can be.

If the “reporters” wield the Butterknife, then Jebbie and Co. may be forgiven, by many half-sleepy members of the electorate, on the Indiana thing.

Problem is, there will be so many ConServaDoofy “issues”, straight from the Rolo-dex of Krazy, that will be coming down the Pike in the days, weeks and months to come.

All demanding the various inhabitants of the Klown Kar to take a stand.

At least, until the General…then it’s the playbook of “Myth” Romney…

Eh, what’s a huge multinational corporation when the state’s crappy Christian pizza provendors have your back?

He sounds concerned. Not going to do a damn thing about it, of course, but he’s got his voice and GE out there as one of the “concerned” companies. Leadership!

Of course they campaign way to the right and then (try to) return to the center, but it will be up to the Dems to remind the electorate that this was the repugnant stand that certain soulless pols took as a matter of convenience. The Dems got out ahead of the 2012 campaign and told people what to expect as he flopped around looking for footing, and that will need to be M.O. again.

Immediately after, Jack Welch said he wasn’t concerned.
