I browse several big city papers on line. I also browse the comments readers make anonymously on stories.
If the story is even remotely related to immigration, it unleashes a flood of coded and not so coded racism.
Sometimes the story has nothing to do with immigration, but those commenting will manage to conflate the subject of the story with immigration. Alice in Wonderland.
