Someone needs to remind Mr. Rivera that the MAIN charges are tax evasion, wire fraud and hiding employee wages. The hiring illegals charge is a throw in to ensure whatever deal he bargains for, the price goes up.

Iā€™m sort of amazed at the lack of self-awareness from certain people - Geraldo, Donald Trump, Bill Kristol, La Palin - who donā€™t seem to grasp that their endorsements are pretty much the Kiss of Death.

Heh, not only was the ā€œvaultā€ emptyā€¦it didnā€™t exist. I watched that program and all that was found was a tin can. No treasure, no money, nothing but dirt. Not even a vault.

So being a vet and a former FBI agent makes you invulnerable to prosecution? Nice to know. I rather see it the other way around:Iā€™d expect an FBI agent to be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. Iā€™d expect them to have more integrity than the run-of-the-mill Congressman (I know, not a very high bar).

OT but I got this message when I tried to ā€œlikeā€ a comment:

Geraldo says that Cong. Grimm is a good guy and the employing undocumented aliens is Mickey Mouse. Well, Geraldo, I would be happy to call the US District Attorney to get them to drop the undocumented charge if you can get Grimm to plead guilty to all the other charges and forget the undocumented charge. Sounds like a fair deal. Iā€™ll also throw in the treasure map to Al Caponeā€™s horde of money.
