I’m conservative, folks. I’m also careless, ignorant of basic safety rules and generally unfit to be walking the streets of a civilized community.
“I decorate with barrels, folks. Get over it.”
“And my wife wears white shoes after Labor Day. Suck on it!”
I’m old enough to remember when the word “conservative” was, if not synonymous with, at least tangentially related to words like “circumspect”, “careful”, or “leery”. Let’s slow down and not do anything silly (even if “don’t be silly” meant bad, cruel things like “don’t let gay people get married or whatever”).
Back in those days, it did not mean “I point guns at people to make a point”.
Because, y’know, that’s what crazy people do. Something something don’t point at what you don’t intend to shoot etc etc.
One wonders what would happen were he to pull that shit in a “Stand Your Ground” state.
I await commentary from the NRA.
Since I live in Ga. I get to see this ad nightly, it is a hoot but it is what I have come to expect from Ga.'s GOP but at least this guy doesn’t stand a chance.
NRA: Two Thumbs Up!
The attempt at humor is so deadening, and the inevitable challenge to “suck on it, libtard” after is even more predictable than the inability to understand how “funny” works. Snickering prick, and the poor kid who had to be a part of it…
THIS is funny, Mr. gun jokester…
These days, that term has about as much resemblance to reality as Jonah Moron Goldberg’s thesis that the Nazis were liberals.
They’re RWNJs, not conservatives.
“Brian Kemp is a conservative The only things he has a liberal attitude toward are keeping lots of firearms scattered around the house, and occasionally pointing them at people.”
~ Paid for by Kemp for Governor, LLC.
Implicit in that ad is a threat of death if young man doesn’t give the candidate the respect he deserves. Think about that. This is the GOP of today.
Pull that shit on a gun range and you’ll be banned permanently.
Pull that shit on a military gun range and a ban is the least of your worries.
Am I right that if not scripted this would be the kind of thing that would lead to a 911 call and years to decades behind bars? “Recite my manifesto while I’m pointing a gun at you” is the kind of thing terrorists say.
I’ve traveled in many red states and met many fine people there. Large sections of my own state are intensely red. And I get that rural, southern, and western people don’t want to be looked down on or laughed at. I don’t. But gang, this stuff makes you look bad. It makes you look ignorant and crazy. Just saying. I’d discuss it among yourselves and decide if it’s something you’re comfortable identifying with. There’s nothing “conservative” about this. It’s just stupid. You’re better than this. I know you are.
Hello, I’m the crazy father of the girl no one wants to date, and I’d appreciate your vote!
I was once stuck next to Brian Kemp at a meeting of entrepreneurs and investors. He had no idea what was being discussed. The one time he spoke, he went on about the need to reduce job-killing regulations. I wish I had a picture of the stunned reactions in the room.

I bet his daughter thinks this is real, real funny.
Clowns like this think guns make them tough guys.
So messed up.
