“People” who are 8 weeks or 8-9 pregnant, etc., Who out there thinks it’s more than women who get pregnant?

The right wing is on its way to creating fetal personhood laws, and they won’t stop til they get there. That will mean that a woman who miscarries or loses a fetus in any way including a physical assault or during delivery will be charged with manslaughter. This is one small step down that road.

They surely are evil. But my reasoning is that fetal personhood applies exclusively to some, if not just one religion. In many other religions like Buddhism, a fetus is not a human until it was born. I think this point is easy to prove and hard to dispute considering precedents which greatly favor religious freedom. That’s why I say we may just let go of “privacy” and start working on “religious freedom”. It’s a more solid ground and we might be able to go on the offensive.

The right wing brought the concept of fetal personhood to the foreground, has to do with their religious beliefs, not mine, maybe not a majority of women in this country. The medical profession would probably disagree as well, and they’ve got a serial adulterer on their side.

Banning abortions after 6 weeks from conception is essentially banning ALL medical abortions.

A pregnancy younger than 6 weeks cannot be detected by an ultrasound, therefore the location within the uterus cannot be diagnosed. Many (if not most) doctors would not perform a medical abortions under six weeks. From what I understand, medical abortions are safest between 6 weeks and 12 weeks of the pregnancy.

So Georgia basically just banned ALL medical abortions.

Georgia women should avoid getting pregnant by withholding sex. That will teach those old goats.

But think of what would happen to the real goats.

Georgians are more than twice as likely as New Yorkers to be killed in a shooting. The death rate exceeds even that of Illinois, where Chicago’s epidemic of violence has attracted widespread attention.

Must be people dying of politeness.
