Discussion: Garcetti Bows Out Of 2020, Leaves Vice Presidency On The Table

I bet Biden bows out before June. That will leave the field wide open for Bernie.

This is bad news for Schultz, Gillibrand and Gabbard. It is going to get lonely in the Rearguard Mini-Peloton, just the three of them.

I would also like to announce that I will not run for president in 2020 but would consider the VP slot.

If elected I refuse to serve.
Being retired, which means I get paid to do nothing, is far more agreeable.

I was pretty convinced Garcetti was going to run because he made it an open secret. He did help a lot of candidates on the trail last year across the country. The Kamala Harris roll out had a lot to do with his decision and the CA delegation is quickly consolidating behind her.

Gabbard has had a rough beginning to her campaign and that effort will be dormant soon. Schultz is making Dems feel good about their dunking skills. I expect random Dems to petition to enter the NBA’s slam dunk contest in a few weeks. Beto, Klobuchar, Brown and Biden are yet to declare. Of the 4, Brown looks the most likely to declare. This may not be as big a field as we thought.

I have no idea or could not remember who the hell this guy is. My fear is that there are so many announcing their candidacy or exploratory, I do not know who half of them are!

I’m waiting for the Russians to indicate which candidates they feel a need to work against.
