Discussion: GAO: White House Is Stonewalling Our Inquiries

“In response to our requests, White House Counsel and NSC staff have either refused to have any discussion with GAO staff or not responded at all,” Armstrong wrote, calling the lack of cooperation a “clear departure from past practice.”

By refusing to supply info they are able to say, there have been no negative information received re our policies, etc… willful ignorance by the administration as well as those that still support them.

TBF, they are totally transparent. Accountable, not remotely.

There might be something to this in the future, based on the following:

“Ah, yes, that big, beautiful wall…”

I had an email communication with the local Democratic party leader who was attempting to put together the details of our booth at the local county fair in July. I wrote him the following:

Would suggest starting with the bullet points from the DNC website (there are about 20, pick a few) and then add some local relevant points.

Make them actionable. For example, Be inclusive doesn’t say anything. What does that mean? What is actionable about inclusivity? What does Clean Air or Fair Taxation mean? What is actionable about it? What will initiate conversation?

Will any of the gubernatorial candidates visit the stand? This is an election year to replace Scott. If we have none of our candidates there, the perception will be that none of the candidates care about western Wisconsin, which is what we have now. How does the Democratic party change that?

I looked at the GOP stand last year and understood why we have no presence in the area. Their booth was energetic; they had representation; there were young people there, they had actionable bullet points. I will say that more than one of our patrons asked us to dispose of the GOP propaganda, which was hopeful, because it means some folks are open to hearing our message, but we had nothing there to refute the GOP stand.

There was more than one person that came by saying that our main display about the local farms contaminating water was off-putting because some of those farms were represented at the fair. We take a stand without being accusatory and inflaming things.

We also need proper documentation against those that would accuse Tammy Baldwin of not helping the Tomah opioid situation - I am of the opinion that being Senator didn’t authorize her to write prescriptions, but that’s not something one can argue with. We need appropriate documentation to defend what she has done in that situation.

I worked the stand last year, but will be out of town that weekend, but keep me on the list for future work.

I then followed up with:

One more thing:

Please, please, please make no mention of the current President anywhere in the booth or literature. It is already clear that running against Trump alone convinces no one. Run against the policies of the current Congress and only this. Mention Trump and folks will stay away in droves and write the booth off as disgruntled losers.

Donald Trump is the worst president this country has ever had or will have. I want him fired. He has not kept his promise to uphold the Constitution and therefore he should be fired. He’s a traitor, he’s a grafter, he’s a liar and he’s crazy. Get out of our White House you’re unworthy. You are an illegitimate president.

And I hate you.

Do you recall the 1980s miniseries “Amerika”, with Kris Kristofferson about the KGB infiltrating the US and taking over? Yeah, totally implausible.

That’s the answer right there… non-partisan is code for Democratic in their minds

Jeez, one would think the people at the GAO would read a newspaper or watch a cable news show or surf the Web every once in a while. Are they honestly surprised they are being stonewalled?

Relax. Don’t let it piss you off. Just take a deep breath. Count to 10, and then exhale. Let all of your problems and worries flow out of your body. Repeat as necessary.

Have you sent this to Fox & Friends? They can provide tomorrow’s Dear Leader tweetstorm already written so he can spend more of his time doing “work.”

Down to 23 seats now.

We have to make sure it happens.

I am truly shocked that this WH would attempt to evade scrutiny.

I feel a need to lie down.
