But in some of these cases, when the acts were from years ago, it is entirely feasible that current friends and colleagues honestly have no idea of the past acts. Some of these arenāt like Trump and Weinstein, where the abusive behavior was constant and continuing with dozens of victims over decades.
OK, Iāll give Heilemann the benefit of the doubt for not knowing about stuff that occurred in the 90s. Fine.
But Halperin has always been a dick, and Heilemann has continued to work with him. That, and not his lack of knowledge about the sexual assaults raises questions about Heilemannās judgment.
