Rigged!
He’s loved by people who hate. What could go wrong?
Voting for Trump may have been a secret pleasure in the booth and possibly in a few private contexts. But it’s kind of like declaring your porn-watching propensities in public – something everybody would prefer you keep to yourself. I mean, who actually shows their face in DC for the inauguration besides the elite directly in on the benefits? Americans for Golden Showers? Human Furniture League? Elephant Hunters of America, Southeast Chapter?
“This Movement”
Why am I not surprised? After all the Asshole-elect has the attention span of a forth grader and the sensitivity of a dork who had sand kicked in his face all his life.
Oh well, this is what our stupid electorate (and Putin, and the FBI) gave us. A moron asshole. Sad.
You’re kidding! You mean people are beginning to realize the DISASTER they have caused?
Forget charter schools- can we just get an adequate Civics curriculum going so we don’t have ignorant idiots flooding the ballot box? Talk about a rigged election!
I’m reminded of conversations/scenarios from years ago wherein friends, family members or supporters of someone with a growing addiction or marital issue would attempt to diffuse, minimize and/or defend growing, associated issues.
That these conversations occurred so frequently just prior to an explosive dénouement, I would take their occurrence as a sure indication of a horror-filled approaching climax of some sort.
Ok, I have to bring this up:
We are still believing poll numbers from ANY source after the stellar job these poll takers did during the 2016 election? Did I miss how HRC is the President-elect, given that all the polls said she would win in a landslide?
Why is anyone paying attention to these people? Their models didn’t improve in a mere eight weeks, did they?
Well said. GWB has got to be feeling much better about his historical reputation at this point.
I think it’s very true that Trump voters are not likely to feel much loyalty at all to him, if/when he fails to deliver on all his grandiose promises. (Most of which would be impossible to fulfill anyway, because they are completely nonsensical.) The same bitterness, anger, cynicism which he rode to the White House will turn against him in a minute when they perceive that he has sold them out.
It’s bound to because you can’t win on that basis and then not do what you said you would. He’s already admitted he isn’t able to do the two biggest things he promised: the wall and Hillary in jail.
True, but I’ve also seen other polls with his approval rating in the 30s. Plus, I just don’t think you can apply logic, statistics, math, science, etc. to anything we’re about to witness.
Models, it would seem, require accurate data and, according to the ‘experts’, this election was massaged thus skewing the analysis.
I would add, laughably to some, that Bannon’s public praise for Satan indicated another unknown, possibly unprecedented and darker data-set into the mix.
Every single day, I think to myself that as bad as the W years were, they ain’t shit compared to what’s coming.
Who knew they could go lower? But by god they did - they’ve taken that elevator allll the way down to the 7th level of hell.
Indeed…But this isn’t to say “logic, statistics, math, science, etc.” will disappear, like history, they will loom over these miscreants.
If I could offer a spellcheck–it’s “PEEOTUS”, not “PEOTUS”. /s
It’ll turn out to be 26%. That’s the magic number. That’s how many people still think Cheney was a great guy. They think we found WMD in Iraq. They think torturing prisoners produces good intelligence. They think Obama was born in Kenya. They think the Clintons killed Vince Foster. They think the Government should keep its hands off their Medicare. They use the word “libtard” a lot. These aren’t just low information voters - these are people who have no ability to separate factual wheat from fantasy chaff.
If there were just some way to identify them, and round them up into one or two States…
Dante Alighieri, so over-rated, a loser poet no one will remember.
