We are in a situation of consistent surrealism… the swirling toilet of republican “logic” has made America anticipate the next absurdity. Yes, the angry yam is an assclown of destruction… Be that as it may, we must remember a simple truth. The repugs died and herr drumpfsucchen is the phoenix child of teabaggery and ignorant hate.

Would have been additionally interesting to see the polls from 1 week before the convention to the post-convention. However, this is pretty strong stuff. It’s not the momentary information, but the information in context of normal behavior. Trump is moving to a historical place that only McGovern, Goldwater, and Mondale have been before. So, what we will see, going forward, is the attempt to save the Senate for the Rs. My prediction: “Save Sen XX to stop Hillary”. And that will be successful in some cases.

Well this is certainly encouraging. Hillary and Co. need to keep the pressure on, continue making him respond to perceived slights rather than let him go back on the offensive. Every day Dems and liberals should be talking about Khan and gold-star families and and Trump’s business failures and his Russian ties and his tax returns and his surreal stream of blatant lies. With any luck we won’t have to hear much about emails or any of that crap.

Good news. We need to work even harder to elect Hillary and to defeat Trump. I must confess, I am of the same mind as Josh. All Trump had to do was to put out a muted statement to answer Mr. Khan’s DNC speech.

That’s all.

The fact that he did not was a stunning display of “dangerous and stupid”. Trump is also an indescribably evil man.

Trump: Unfair poll by Gallup, which has the reputation of being severely biased. Gallup should have included Russians in its sample. I win by a landslide.

Clinton’s acceptance speech was better received by adults polled in the survey, with 44 percent describing the nominee’s speech as “excellent” and only 20 percent believing the speech she gave on the final day of the convention was “terrible.”

I’m sure it would have been closer to even if the Trumpsters hadn’t been told not to watch it.

Witnessing the GOP’s train wreck of a 2016 convention reminded me of the film Americathon.

All it lacked was Monty Rushmore, self-medicating over four days, out of Rush Limbaugh’s suitcase.

Eric McMerkin: “Hard to believe all these people, independently, came up with this for a career.”

and the 2016 GOP convention was the first time where a
candidate ended up in negative territory.

It’s the first time a candidate has had his head so far up his ass —

So much for the “historical” viewership that The Dumpster spouts about.

Trump “knows words; he has the best words!”

Right now, the best word for Trump seems to be “loser.”

If this were a boxing match, the ref would have given him a standing eight count based on the past four days.

I THINK this w\ill have been a tipping point for der Trumpster. I doubt the poll numbers will ever converge.

HRC already has 290 relatively safe electoral college votes. Yes, anything could happen, but EVs looking good for her.
