Discussion: GA Teacher Who Fired Gun, Barricaded Himself In Classroom Released From Jail

Davidson fired a snub-nosed .38-caliber revolver out his classroom window … the social studies teacher’s contract will not be renewed for next year.

I smell a lawsuit. NRA to the rescue.

The Daily Citizen-News reports 53-year-old Jesse Randal Davidson was released from jail in Whitfield County on the bond Thursday afternoon. District Attorney Bert Poston says Davidson will remain in custody at a mental health facility rather than in jail.

Luckily for him Happy Acres has a carry conceal policy that will see his .38 returned to him in time for bed check.

So was he a good guy with a gun or not?

Grassley thought he should keep his gun (until he didn’t, but he hasn’t voted that way yet).

A freaked out guy with a gun. NRA doesn’t acknowledge that status exists.

Well only the bad guys do that. Problem is a good guy can turn into a bad guy in the blink of trigger.

And actually what I worry about more is a bunch of good guys getting trigger happy and killing a bunch of bystanders and to a lesser extent shooting themselves.
