Time for Delta HQ to fly away…

CT (heard on lunchtime news) is courting Delta. Can’t be the only state doing that.

My thoughts exactly. And the Georgia Senate can explain it to the constituents who lose their jobs.

Why am I not surprised, given the fact that the Repusive Party of Georgia is known as a refuge for assholes. More people fly Delta every year than belong to the NRA. Do the math assholes.

Soooooo why is the government punishing a corporation for lessening ties to a non-government organization?

Any lawyers want to give their opinion about lawmakers passing laws to hurt a company directly because they wont give discounts to a group of people?

Time to change states, Delta.

Yes, it’s a blatant attack on First Amendment freedom of assembly and private free market enterprise and the very antithesis of “conservatism.”

What the what? So the NRA is basically running the Georgia lege? Why else would they intervene in an issue between the two organizations in favor of the NRA? Well, Delta, come back to the Twin Cities. We’d love to have your headquarters here and we even appreciate your rebuke of the NRA.

Leave Georgia, Delta. I did. It feels great.

I hope that Delta will consider the State of Washington and the Seattle area as its new hub.

This will do wonders for their Amazon HQ2 bid.

It’s a good thing that republicans are all about keeping government out of the affairs of private businesses.

The movie and TV projects filmed there will be interested in this too. Damn Hollywood lie-bruls

Hey Delta! During 2016, the Governor of Nova Scotia offered to welcome any American refugees into his State, and help with resettlement in the event DJT became President. Georgia clearly does not want you to be there. Nova Scotia clearly DOES!

Would like to see Delta and other companies really put the financial screws to the states that NRA think they own.

Because delta doesn’t have enough petty cash to change the makeup of the legislature whenever it wants.

Ironically, this is a lot like the AT&T merger thing with trump: there’s really no good reason for the state to give a big corporation yet another tax break at everyone else’s expense, but rescinding it for this particular reason is despicable.

(Also note that this is part of a general tax “reform” bill cutting several billion dollars from the state’s income, with a matching cut in services that no one will have expected.)

So it is now the GOPNRA against everyone? This is nuttery on an epic scale.
