Most folks will ask “why not murder” and conclude they want to go soft on a killer Cop. I don’t think that’s the case. That area ( up I95 from me ) is red neck through and through. That’s deep deep Georgia. And the DA there probably learned from our idiotic DA, Angela Cory, that over charging is a path to a loss. No way those necks convict a Cop of murder. Victim black or white…not happening. But voluntary manslaughter…that might happen. I suspect that’s the case here. Charge for what a jury will convict and lock this asshole Cop up.
