LookâŠif a Walking Zero like Ted Cruz can actually have millions of people believe that he belongs in tbe Oval Office, instead of in a mental institution, it is reasonable enough to assume that these same types of individuals would also have enough money to give to this business establishment.

And by feeding people your certain to be greasy, fat laden, artery clogging pizza, are you putting your stamp of approval on heart disease? Or do you say a Hail Mary for each customer the comes into your shop? Do you drop to you knees and pray the rosary for anyone what orders five or more of your death discs? What if they order TEN or more? Do you devote an entire prayer circle gathering to them? Do you think about the misery of heart disease, cancer, and DEATH that you cause? The absolute worst thing people who oppose this pizza restaurant could do, they did. These owners became a face and a cause for the anti-homosexual bigots. Now, supporting them financially is proof of some misguided bona fides for their movement.
People need to be smarter and trust that when a business like this puts their bigoted views out front that they will be rejected in the normal course of capitalism. If no alleged threats were made, then this place would likely have quietly gone out of business because of all of the negative press. Now these people will be plastered all over the news as a success story.

Threatening violence only made this pizza place the face for their cause. If she made her stupid statement and it was reported without people threatening her, then she would be just another stupid business owner in a long line of business owners who put their politics before their business, to their businessâs detriment. Being known as the anti-gay pizza place would have hurt their sales and judging from the way the place looked, they couldnât afford it
Now they just received at least a $500,000 injection of capital that allows them to be bigots with no repercussions.

Assuming they actually get the money. It wouldnât be the first time Beck raised money under shady purposes. They may never see a dime of it, but even if they do, theyâll have no idea what to do with it and itâll be spent before next calendar year on frivolous things.

- Charge accounts at Family Dollar and Walmart
- Repaint the El Camino

Nope. Let them be the postervictims. The public outrage and opprobrium is appropriate, long overdue and, above all, eminently necessary for the movement to grow, spread and become a norm, part of our societal mores. The bigots will not win. Thereâs isnât enough Hate Lottery money to help them all and they will be brought to their knees. No mercy. No quarter. No kid gloves. The public disembowelment of this business being hampered by some silly fundraising does not undermine the fact that the message is being sent loud and clearâŠand that industry giants like Walmart and others are hearing it (in fact, they anticipated it)âŠâwe can and will eviscerate you.â Would you take the risk that the Hate Lottery wonât be there to save your business after you get publicly called out for operating it in a bigoted manner? Is that a reliable business plan?

It is reasonable to assume that TheBlaze setup or used some kind of 501©(3) to accept these donations. The next question should be âWhat is the overhead? What is their percentage?â Are they charging a flat dollar amount or a percentage of the take? Historically, we have seen some donation schemes run by conservatives charge their âvictimsâ 80-90% of the gross as an âoverheadâ expense that comes off the top.
