“Kevin apparently took his eye off the road and hit a wave and it shot the boat high in the air,” Gibbons said.

Well, yes, I think if one is racing a power boat and one’s eye is on the road at all, reaching down to pick it up will cause bad things to happen. I mean, why was his eye on the road and not in his head? (ba-doom swish) And what was he doing racing a power boat near a road? (ba-doom-doom swish)

Good night, and thank you - you’ve been a fantastic audience! Don’t forget to tip your servers!!

I guess having your buddy die in a Shitgibbon-sponsored boat race is now a qualification for public office. Quite the endorsement.

At least the race was sponsored by Trump Castle Hotel & Casino, one of the few Cockholster casinos that didn’t go belly up; it was instead sold at a major loss before it tanked. He might want to use that tidbit as a résumé padder.

Alex Jones: Hillary Clinton is a weather witch! She got together with George Soros and a few other East coast elites and performed a ceremony that guaranteed that the weather
would be so bad that they shouldn’t have had any kind of offshore power boat race butDonaldTrumpdefiedtheevilwitchesandheldtheraceanywaybutit’sallherfaultandtheglobalists!!!

This is a story for TPM to cover, why?

Was Kevin Brown or Mike Gibbons negotiating a loan with Iwanka and Cuck Kushner for 666 Sixth Avenue aka Temple of the Antichrist?

As long as it is factual I have no issue with reporting. Sometimes facts that appear seemingly unrelated or small come together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.

It’s not the reporting, it’s the editing. Specifically, the choice to run the story.

Agreed. The story reveals a coincidence of zero relevance and with a sell-by date that expired a quarter century ago.

Man. What word blender produced that headline?

My thought exactly. Thinking it might be a high school intern?

Old news. Being fleeced by Donald Trump paying inflated drink prices is the entire business model, since forever.

Thank you. So I am not the only one who asks himself why on earth is this a story in a political environment and magazine.

Maybe not the most important story, but I for one like the idea that ultra-rich Republicans engage in sporting activities that can result in decapitation.

Oh. I was expecting the article to be about ptomaine poisoninng.

OK, so 29 years ago, this guy’s new business partner of six weeks, dies in an off shore powerboat race when his roaring, snorting, screaming, high speed 32-foot catamaran speedboat flipped over and crashed.

what exactly is the compelling connection to Trump? - is there supposed to be some hatred of Trump because he sponsored this race?

There are thousands of reasons to hate Trump - this one is kind of lame
